Ness Exotic Wellness Center

We've been bringing our ferrets to Dr. Ness for many years. They are always professional and they know exactly what they are doing. We feed our ferrets a raw meat diet and are fully supported by them. Its hard to find a holistic vet these days. Extra credit goes to Kevin. He is fantastic and does a great job with laser therapy and consults.

I needed a vet for my sugar glider so I called at least 10 different veterinary offices in Chicago and the surrounding area. After being asked by one person if my sugar glider was a "cat or a dog" I finally found Dr. Ness' phone number. I called his office and was asked intelligent knowledgeable questions so I decided to take my glider, Mr. Lily, to Dr. Ness. It was well worth the 35 mile drive. The facility is new, clean and state of the art. The office staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Ness is very experienced and was willing to take the time to educate me about my sugar gliders nutritrional and physical needs, he was as patient with me as he was with Mr Lily. Dr. Ness offers holistic therapies for his patients but does not preach their merits ( unless you express an interest) or try to sell you expensive tests that are not necessary. My sugar glider needed surgery and the post-op care was great. After only 2 days the surgical site was hardly even pink which proves the skill of the surgeon and the care taken in providing a sterile atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Ness to anyone looking for compassionate profesisonal care for their pet.
