IT WAS HE SAID SHE SAID AND WE WERE PRETTY MUCH CALLED LIRES IN OUR OWN HOME. "I NEVER SAID THAT" OR I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND CAME UP WITH THAT BUT I NEVER SAID THAT"

So I will make it short and sweet. I give it only one star because you have to rate it. If it were up to me I would give them -5 stars. So the rating means nothing.

I paid $3,900 for this company to put red oak flooring in my living room and down our hallway and varnish it. the job was to take 1 week it took three and this is what I was left with. First picture (even though it isn't very good) is grass under the varnish has already been back once to remove other grass. Was told my home isn't a vacuum and this will happen.

next two pictures are the hole in my floor it measures 1" in length and 3/8" deep. Because it is Common #1 it is to be expected even though this was never mentioned to us.

the last picture is the wood filler that was left on and they varnished over it. In letter was told that this is maybe 4 square inches considering we did 51,120 square inches. In other words live with it.

I was told and I quote

"I am sorry that you are so unhappy with your floors. I thought your floors looked great! This is the last correspondence I will have with you, the way you acted at the end of the job was unprofessional, if something major happens to your floor have your husband call me."

Apparently these are not major to him, but I am the one who paid him $3,900 and I am the one who should say if they look great or not or if I am satisfied or not.

I PAID HIM TO DO A JOB HE WASN'T PAYING ME TO DO A JOB. I was unprofessional because I questioned his professionalism and his work ethic.(He wants to talk about professionalism, How about the owner of the company took a dip in my pool and then when questioned at the end of the job about it he said do you know how many of my customers tell me if it is hot you are welcome to jump in the pool. Hello, we weren't even home, we never offered and he never asked, what would have happened if he would have hurt himself sue us). Maybe if he wouldn't have been swimming in our pool he would have had the job done in a week as promised. They had full reign of the house for 1 week we were on vacation which means they could have worked 12 hour days to get the job done in the allotted amount of time that was specified. That is just one example of the unprofessionalism we encountered, and he has the nerve to question my professionalism. He assured me again and again that the floors would be beautiful when they were done because he was a perfectionist. They are not

I have used him in the past for work and have often referred people to him. we actually saw some of his work at a friends house and asked them who did it and that's how we came to use his service.

Gene McMaster Enterprises refinished the hardwood floors in our home on Prospect Street in Warsaw which were very worn and discolored in places, it was amazing what he was able to do, bringing them back to life: shiny, no spots and then he sealed them where only a mild cleaning was necessary. The commitment of 1 week was met and always explained the process of what they were doing. Would recommend this company to anyone, superior service.

The professionalism and integrity that I have seen from this business is to be commended. They are are extremely detailed about the quality of work and are extremely competitive for a high quality work. They care about their customers and I have known and seen the quality of work completed and all their customers are extremely satisfied. They have simple contracts that try not to complicate the process, but yet hold accountability to all. I would highly recommend them as they have completed so many homes and delighted so many of my friends and acquaintances. This is a business you can trust and depend on.

Gene McMaster has done our floors for us and they turned out beautiful. He is very professional and competitive. He went above and beyond to make them perfect. His quality of work is amazing. I would highly recommend him!
