Horrible, there was no "no star" option unfortunately; 1 star is too high. Beware of the inferior ION haircolor color, shade 8N (supposedly medium neutral blonde) it is dark ash! Long story, went to return it 2 weeks ago, had my credit card receipt (I threw out the store receipt as I did not expect "not to like it" although should not have been needed as Sallys advertises across the US and internet their "Love it or Return it" ( refund with receipt, store credit without) but Sally's LIES. I tried to return 2 inferior products, this awful color that discolored my hair was one of them, and while a polite cashier was about to make my exchange, this rude obnoxious "Amanda the Associate" apparently wanted to throw her weight around & intervened in the exchange, and told the younger more pleasant cashier not to honor the exchange, as I did not have a receipt and I used it. Well how the hell, is one supposed to know, if the "Love it or not" if they do not use it...also, clearly any idiot could see the roots and 3" extending of my hair were discolored. As I left, discolored hair and all thanks to both "ION" crap products and after "Amanda the Associate" refused to honor Sally's advertised return policy, as I headed for the door this obnoxious Amanda had a parting sarcastic jab for me...."Have a nice day" she shouted, this after clearly seeing her rudeness and failing to honor Sally's return policy agitated me. So rest assured Sally and whoever the Manager is over there whose name oddly enough seems to be a secret as no one will provide it....(obnoxious "Amanda" possibly, lying about her position perhaps??) So today I put my online complaint in with the arm of the FBI, that looks into scams, dishonesty in advertising on the internet etc which is the IC3.govIf anyone knows the store managers name at Sallys in Lindenhurst, please advise as they refuse to inform me. Writing the CEO is useless, she (Carrie McDermott) just blows you off as all do at Lying Sallys Beauty.
I have always had a good experience with this store except for the Pharmacist Yolanda who in my opinion is not fit to be a Pharmacist.. Not only does she make mistakes on prescriptions but also has a snide attitude. Her advice on prescriptions are often wrong as well as down right inaccurate. I would give a five star rating to this store however she brings down the store to an average rating. Too Bad for the other employee's who deserve the 5 star rating. If I owned Rite Aid I would fire her on the spot.
