Vista Medical Center - Lindenhurst

Never go to this ER, I live directly down the street and will never go here again. Dr Sharma is the absolute worse doctor and he made us wait four hours with an open wound for my 10 year old. My daughter never had anything happen to her and was extremely scared and he was so awful to her and rude. He treated her like a car going in for an oil change. Even if you do not treat children you are an ER doc and need to adjust to all ages of patients and will have children that enter the doors that are extremely terrified. These are children not a slab of meat! The nurses were wonderful and basically told us to call and complain and what he did was absolutely ridiculous. This doctor should never practice and his stitches look like Edward Scissorhands did them. God forbid anything happens to my children but I will surely drive to Lake Forest ER facility in Grayslake to avoid this place in the future. This was a very traumatic experience for my daughter and as a mother you expect some kindness.

Will NEVER Go to this ER again! Terrible. The receptionist was extremely nice, but the nurse and Doctor were inexcusably rude and had the bedside manner of a stick. Waited In a room without even being checked on for 1 1/2 hours while the staff sat around visiting. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service. Going to the ER is the last thing I want to do, and hadn't had to go to one in in 20 years. Will drive to Grayslake if I ever have to go again.

The doctor is a complete jerk! (The older tall male doctor) He told me numerous times that I was a bad parent and it was my fault my son was sick! He told me he wish he would reconsider the way I raise my son & is now just being plain RUDE! I am pregnant and the nurse pinned me up against the wall of the bed to get around me & I told her I was stuck & couldn't move and she said well I need to get behind you! I will never ever be back here, EVER! It would have been worth it to drive the extra 20 minutes to the hospital!!!
