Took a small personal loan out with LincOne for emergency repairs on my vehicle a while back. I've had difficulties in the past few months keeping up with my payments, at least in the amounts they insisted, due to some student loan and credit card debt coming due. Just received a notice in the mail that my wages are about to be garnished when I'm already struggling to meet my current obligations including trying to figure out how I'm going to pay rent on top of everything else. In the court documents filed they claim I made a "deliberate effort" to not pay them back. This flagrant lie against my character came as a surprise, since I couldn't even tell you the last time someone tried to reach out to me and see if there was a way to work out a payment option that wouldn't put a strain on my, already stressed, monthly budget. I understand when you enter into a loan contract with an establishment like this there are certain expectations leaned on you to pay the loan back in a timely manner, however, I would have rather entered such a contract with an establishment that was more flexible and understanding of a struggling college student. My mistake I guess. My greatest recourse in all this is that I'll soon be able to end my working relationship with this place of business. I just don't feel I received fair treatment. From one very unsatisfied customer, I'd recommend others in similar straits steer far and clear of LincOne Federal Credit Union.
Great Branch but FYI they are open saturday 9 -5 and sunday 12 - 5 so....
Been a customer for over ten years, haven't had many problems with them until recently. Changed their checking policies without informing. I was rendered five $33.00 in fees in a single day, I can understand one but five totaling $165.00 is ridiculous. I don't understand why any of my small purchases weren't just declined instead a $6.00 was suddenly $39.00 because of the fees rendered. My direct deposit went through the next day and I went in do one of the locations to get this looked at. After the banks a refusal to review or remove any of the fees citing that they can only do it if it was a "bank error", I am taking my business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same.
Friendly staff, great checking, my favorite location
Definitely not the best Walmart out there. You'll find better product and staff at other locations. Also, don't attempt calling. I've been hung up on and sat on hold for more than 10 minutes at least twice. I also had an employee get all huffy when I asked if they had something and she said she'd have to "walk all the way across the store to see". Isn't that better than me having to drive all the way across town, drag a baby and preschooler into the store in the cold and walk all the way across the store just to find that they, in fact, do not have it (which they didn't)? I hate that location. Try north 84th.
Answer the Phone!!!! At least have an answering service or be able to leave a message to have you contact someone back!!!! This business doesn't even have a directory it just gives business hours the end!
