When they first opened they could do no wrong. The to go orders were always right, the food was hot, servings large and they got it out to you fairly fast for as busy as they were. It was too good to be true. Within a couple of months the service fell way off, the consistency of the food became iffy and the place wasn't very clean. If you dine in, the noise level is unbearable. Between the obnoxiously loud country music, the line dancing and going to tables and singing for birthdays it's just too much. It's impossible to have a pleasant dining experience with that level of racket going on. And the ribs that we loved so much the first couple of times we ate there have been dry and overcooked the last two times. Our sides on the last two carryout orders were wrong once, and missing the second time. They did comp us for that when we went inside to eat, but with one really scrawny piece of cake when there were two of us dining, and two of us who didn't get our sides on the carry out. They came out of the chute like a hurricane, but fell off the bull before their 8 seconds were up!

The front of the bar smells like sewer gas when it rains or snows. You can smell the urinal from the front door, and the urinal is by the back door. It's filthy, crusty and the chairs are almost all broken or cockeyed in some way. But the beer is freezing cold, and on Sunday after 5 you can get Miller High Life long necks for a dollar. A dollar. Let me repeat that. A dollar. Two out of three of the evening bartenders are awesome, and the day guy during the week just might tell you to go to .....but he'll respect your drinking abilities as long as you don't drive him nuts. Go Tuesday's for the trivia night and win a prize that will probably not be to your liking. Shut up about it, and act like you won a million bucks. It's only a game, and you might win a free drink. I'll rue the day this dump closes, because there's nothing like it anywhere in Lincoln. Beat up old hippies and miscreants, always an interesting mix.
Hot as the Sahara in the summer, colder than Siberia in the winter, and hosted by bartenders that are just plain sick of YOU. And they do make you feel like you're interrupting their lives when you make one of them lay down his newspaper to get you a beer. And what ever you do, don't try to make conversation, because that's not what they're there for. They're there to grudgingly get you booze. Period. The food is horrendous, served from a kitchen that hasn't been cleaned since 1974. You need a scuba tank to breathe in the toilet, otherwise the urinal stench will probably burn your lungs like you just walked into a meth lab. They have bands there, usually on Friday. Some are good, most aren't. Go down the street to The Pub. See my review of same.
Dropped in around 9PM Monday and enjoyed the best meal we have had in 4 days in Nebraska. Great menu, wonderful abiance. The chef, Jason is culinary school teacher caliber, but he is self taught and loves what he does. Our server was Ryan and was attentive and made recomendations that we followed, one of the diners was a 18 year resident of Manhatten New York and he said the food was up to the finest NY standard. They cater and have a to go menu. Their location is great for folks working downtown as it is on a quick road from the capital. The prices are exceptional. Go and enjoy!

Great laid back bar. They have a beer garden for smokers, pool, modern jukebox, great lunch menu as well as evening appetizers, wide variety of beers (bottle/draws) and cocktails. Karaoke every Tuesday night and Poker every Thursday night. Various live bands through out the week. Love that it is downtown but just enough off the beaten path that it isn't flooded with college kids, but still caters to all ages. Oh, also free wi-fi on site makes it an ideal place to get some work done after hours
I was wowed from the moment I walked in- awesome service, atmosphere and the food was off the hook- HUGE portions and all homeade. Their sirloin is more tender than most steakhouse's filets- and the price is extremely affordable. Many items under 10 bucks and they have an early bird thing for 7.99- I wish I would have found this place sooner. Would reccomend to everyone.
One of the best bars I've ever been in. teresa is absolutely fantastic. the other bartenders I have not met a bad one yet. teresa is not only super sexy but she is a real person. I'm very comfortable in that bar and there seems to be every variety of life the bar gay, LGBT, SWINGERS Which I hope to get to know better. But that's another story. MIKE
walked in was greeted by smiling faces, and oh my gosh the bread and butter!! can't get enough of that stuff!! I was able to pick my own steak! it was cooked perfectly, and the mash takers were amazing with all the toppings. one side was enough but two was too much... overall just awesome!!
I've never had a bad experience here. Best burgers and wings in town, awesome staff, and ambience on fleek! I'm always so impressed with the creative flavor combinations crafted in their burgers, wings, and infused alcohol. Definitely the most underrated restaurant in town!
