The Recovery Center

To differ greatly from the previous reviewer, I felt that this was a great option for me that provided a number of services that were much more affordable than options like the Independence Center and yet, from what I've heard being in the AA community for a while now, the services are equal, if not better. They do not provide inpatient care, but their intensive outpatient may be exactly what some people need. It's what I needed, it was provided in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, no judgments were made by the professionals there or the other attendees, and I still connect with the people I met here regularly to stay on the right path. They know what they're doing here and they helped me change my life for the better. And they did it for 1/10 the price of the next place. One note: the RC is hidden away in the back of a building and they haven't had time to renovate much since they moved recently, so it doesn't look the most welcoming right away, but after one or two visits, whether you want to be there or not, it feels a bit more like home than a more pristine or sanitary setting--which ended up making me feel much more comfortable.
