      Worst "Mexican" food I've ever...

      Worst "Mexican" food I've ever eaten. Nacho cheese? SERIOUSLY? How can a restaurant claim to serve Mexican food when all they offer is store-bought ingredients, down to the inedible chips and salsa? The only things I can conclude is that they are either far too lazy to cook fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine, or they think their customers are too stupid to understand what real Mexican food (and, I would argue, food that comes out of a can) tastes like. I have never written restaurant reviews before, but after this "culinary" experience, I was inspired to rage out on every review site I can get to. What a joke of a restaurant.

      Great tamales, but that's all.

      The tamales here are the best in Lincoln. Too bad the rest of the food isn't as good. Everything seems to be made exactly the same, with either a different sauce or different meat, but it all has the same taste and the same texture. The vegetarian is really bland and unimaginative. I have to agree that this is NOT a Mexican restaurant. It's a Americanized version, and a boring one at that.

      NOT REAL MEXICAN FOOD

      Sorry, but this long-time Lincoln establishment doesn't as a Mexican restaurant. The food is 'clunk', not real Mexican far. More later, but it is not real! Always manges to disappoint a lover of mexican food. Has been so for years.

      Best in Lincoln

      I love La Paz! They have the best food for the dollar in my opinion, and the service is pretty good for how busy they are. It is usually always packed, so come early. The chips and salsa are made fresh daily and really one of the main reasons to go. Everything on the menu is tasty and does not put a hole in your wallet. There is even a VERY tight bar in the back if you need to dirnk faster than the waiter can bring it to you. 10 out of 10!
