My experience at Ellynne Bridal was unfortunately very much similar to other brides that have given Lynne and her staff negative reviews either on this site or elsewhere. I wish I would have done my research prior to driving to Lincoln from Omaha to only find the perfect dress. I'm not sure the lack of customer service afterwards was worth it. Given the amount spent at their establishment, one would expect at least a small modicum of appropriate follow through and follow up with customer service. Long story short for me, is that I put forth at least 85% of the effort in contacting Ellynne Bridal. I received very little communication in return, and when I expressed as much to the owner, I was only met with defensiveness, hostility, and contempt. As an individual, I work in an extremely high-stress environment. Conflict is something I handle on a daily basis. Therefore, in my personal opinion, the situation was handled as carefully and tactfully as possible. I expressed what I was looking for and even complimented what I could of Lynne, her staff, and the establishment. However, this was to little avail. Ultimately, my request was rudely declined, and Lynne was completely unprofessional. It shocks me Ellynne Bridal remains in business. I hope future brides are smarter than myself and do the research before choosing Ellynne Bridal for their gowns.
Angela was the most difficult person I have ever had to work with, in my life. We agreed to buy bridesmaids dresses with here, and she agreed to free alterations. When I found the dresses cheaper elsewhere, she offered a lower price with alterations included. After a few months when the dresses came in, we inquired again about the free alterations, because none of the dress were even close to any of the sizes of my bridesmaids, and Angela said we did not agree to that. After a lengthy discussion about how I was a terrible customer and I was doing nothing but costing her money, I agreed to keep the dresses and she agreed to pay for alterations. The Friday before my wedding, the day right before my wedding, my last bridesmaid finished her dress, and the seamstress was so concerned about not getting paid, that she asked me to take the bill to Angela to see if I could get the money from her for the bill. However, when I went to get my money back from Angela, I was told I was a terrible customer who did nothing but cost her money and time and there was no way she was ever going to pay me back for the money she agreed to pay me two times already. There are two business owners, that I know of, that are no longer willing to do business with her. I recommend finding another bridal shop to do business with if you want your day to go off without any problems.
Unless you want extra stress, a possible ruined wedding wardrobe, and someone trying to take money from you any way she can, do not do business with Angela at Azurite Bridal!! My wife and I were married May 10, 2014, and we chose Azurite Bridal for our bridesmaid's dresses and tuxedos. When I went to get to get fitted, I was instantly concerned because her shop was very dirty and unprofessional looking. Angela took some quick measurements and asked me to pick from 4 black tuxedos. I told her I wanted white for my wedding and she informed me that I would have to go to her supplier, Style Savvi at the mall for that. I then picked black tuxedos and the vests we needed for my groomsmen. She told me there was not a huge rush to pick my tux but to make sure I have it picked out a couple months ahead of time. Fast forward to February, three months before our wedding; I walked into Style Savvi to pick out my tuxedo. After explaining who I am and who sent me (Angela) I was informed that they were no longer supplying tuxedos to her because she was not upholding her responsibility to clients. They told me that I would have to pick out tuxedos from them and have everyone refitted. My wife quickly called and spoke to a woman that claimed to be Angela's daughter, and she gave us the same story; they were no longer doing tuxedos. Apparently they were going to call us. Naturally, we picked out our tuxes and had everyone go to get fitted with the supplier. Fast forward again to the Tuesday before our wedding; Angela calls me to ask if we are still ordering tuxedos through her (5 days before our wedding!!!!!). She said that she heard nothing about what happened with her supplier but can still get tuxedos elsewhere, and I said we already took care of it. Then, the day before our wedding, the last bridesmaid went to go get her dress altered with my wife, and the place doing the alterations, Maria's Alterations (Maria used to work for Angela but left) told her Angela was refusing to pay for alterations because we cost her money by not ordering tuxedos and vests with her. So my wife paid for alterations for all the dresses because she knew Maria wouldn't get paid otherwise. Oh, and all of the dresses were at least two sizes too large so alterations were absolutely imperative (poor sizing by Angela). I honestly believe Angela willfully defrauded us and nearly ruined our wedding day. If you need more proof please call her former tuxedo supplier Style Savvi or her former alterations lady at Maria's Alterations.
I live in Colorado and have looked and looked for the perfect dress and didn't find it till I walked into this adorable bridal boutique! Wow finally... Thee dress of my dreams and the owner was so helpful. Love this place!Highly recommend Azurite!
Went there with my daughter, they were very professional. She tried on many great dresses but found one that looked like it was made for her!!! The price was amazing for such a lovely gown. I even found a few mother of the bride dresses I like. We went to try on dresses 3 times, and I'm glad we did as the dress she fell in love with was a new dress, but the store manager had set it aside for her the moment it came in, and she was correct in doing so. I can't say enough about this store.
After going to the "Big" stores and being harassed by them.... I went to June and told her HELP! and she was great. She helped me to find a dress I was happy with and it didn't cost a fortune. She answered all my questions but most importantly she listened!!! to what I wanted and what was holding me back in finding a dress for my wedding... out of kindness I put on a dress I didn't think I would like... and I felt beautiful! The experience was great... no one looking down their noses or making me feel like I needed to spend a ton of money!! It was like a small town service in Lincoln which I am grateful for... I went to the bigger stores and they called and called and one even sold my cell phone number to other vendors which really upset me... I was in the middle of clase when a lady selling makeup called me.... geez... If you want an assembly line bridal experience go to the big stores BUT if you want to be treated special... I say go here!!!
