It was absolutely appalling. There was a 15 minute wait despite the fact that there were at least 5 tables unoccupied. When we were finally seated there was only 1 server who took the longest time to even take our drink order, let alone their mediocre food. I ordered the Heartland Sausage and Cheese Smasher and let me tell you. It was the most disappointing meal I have ever endured. There was maybe 3 slices of cold sausage and the "scrambled eggs" were hardly scrambled. My large apple juice was not only warm but the glass was horribly dirty with chunks of the last users food still on it. The only saving grace of this visit was their banana nut muffin, which if I hadn't spent the extra 99 cents for I would've been the most unhappy camper. Over all the bill was $41 too much for what we, myself and two of my friends, recieved. I do not recommend this for anyone who doesn't want to put their taste buds through the worst slow and painful death.
YAY!! This place is great! We stopped in on the first day and although they were still getting some of their processes straight- the food was amazing! I had the A.D. Daybreak and my wife had the gluten free Lolly with Cheese. It is so great to have a local place that works to source local and natural food!! If you go during the first week expect them to be a bit slow on their service but I have no doubt once they are open a spell they will iron out all the details for a seamless service- in a very amazing atmosphere!
I see most of these posts are about the service, and I want to add a little to it. I recently applied at Perkins in Liberty Missouri. It took a month before I got an interview, and I only got that interview because I called once a week. The new GM told me he would call me two days later and tell me when I could start. I never heard from him. Worse yet, when we stopped in to eat dinner there was ONE server running for the the entire store. She was worked to the bone. The hostess was rude and told people to get their own menus and instead of helping to clear the many dirty tables laying around in the dining room, she chose to berate the lone server for not doing it. The way the manager talked down to the poor server who was overworked and under helped really made it clear to me that I had dodged a HUGE bullet! Additionally the entire area we were seated in had flies and smelled of urine. I will not return to this store again.
