My experience with Ptera has been outstanding, unlike a few of these reviews here, which caused me to sign up and leave my own review in their defense. From sales to service to support they are not perfect, but they are better than any other Internet Provider I have had. My experience may not be typical, but since I work in the IT industry, I think that some people that give poor reviews to companies like this are dealing with unrealistic expectations and internal issues. 9/10 technical problems that I solve at my job end up being a local issue or user error. If you are unhappy with a company like Ptera, you will be unhappy with any Service Provider you have.
Ok we find out about ptera from neighbor's call they office for service result was trees blocking antenna so they offer me additional antenna on my neighbor house which will cost me $375 so I was happy to do it because 5 year with out Internet and then interesting story I call office for a month leaving massage. .... Steve was taking phone calls creating tickets nobody would call back not a single time final call and request to talk to director Kent of company he call back in 30 min on speaker with Garrett so Kent told now it will cost me $1675 +tax made my day what a great service and wouldn't give me reason why took them month to call back. I am disappointed.
P-tera Wireless is a very affordable unlimited Internet provider that works great especially for us folks out in the rural areas. Before I used Verizon with limited 5MB limits and always ran over paying expensive overages. The download speed of 5MBPS are great with P-tera. We now run the TV on Netflix, one daughter with I-pod, another daughter with a computer on Netflix, plus one other desk top computer user without interuptions. $50.00 or less depending on if you are a veteran. Try them out and tell them Paul recomended you to us. Take them for a spin.
