Regal Cinemas Pastime Pavilion 8

This theater was by far one of the most disgusting places I've ever watched a movie. There weren't but about 6 rows of seats, the screen looked like it was at best 15', it smelled like a wet dog, the screen was damaged and you could see it throughout the entire movie, and the lights on the wall and ceiling flickered the entire time. The women's bathroom smelled like mildew and was just generally rundown and gross. I've honestly been to nicer discount theaters than this one.

Oh! And you can hear the other movies playing in other theaters. Avoid this place if at all possible!!

Review? Where do i begin? Ok, lets start here.... walking up to the theater it seems nice and new. Lots of shopping located near by! arriving At the ticket booth prices read as followed: Adult(s) $8.00 Children $6.00. Ok, not bad! Then came the extra $3.50 for 3D (Rio) ok still not so bad...you want the best, you pay for the best! Final Bill = $34.00! Ok, so, you cant watch a movie with out popcorn, candy and all the goodies! so two HUGE sodas, one medium soda (still pretty big) a frozen lemonade, oh and popcorn = $ 25.00 WOW.... Ok, so the higher priced movie the higher price food. Almost makes sense! So into the movie...(sniff sniff, something stinks) in the theatre feet kicked up, popcorn in one hand, soda in the other! Ready....

OH WAIT DONT STOP READING.... IT ONLY GETS BETTER!!!! While sitting waiting for the movie to begin... my fiance looks down, and what is it do you think he seen?... a HUGE COCKROACH!!!!!!!! not just a roach but a King Kong of Roach ville!!! As big as an adult size thumb!!!! Yes, im serious!!!!!!.....so my fiance being the polite courteous man that he is, picks up the roach (with a piece of trash) takes it to the manager, and he says "thanks"! Common??? I dont think so.... oh did i mention we have a young boy with us (7y/o)! so you cant just pull out and say sorry kid, we cant stay here this is roach country!!!! So, we stuck it out! constantly checking ourselves and the floor for what ever else may want a bite of our goodies!!!! So after the movie we walked to the front counter and asked for the manager (well i went to the car, too many non G-rated thing i had to keep hush, for the boys sake). He promptly came to the desk and our money was refunded!!!! Wonderful manager for such a UNPLEASING place. On a good note Rio was a pretty good movie!!!!

Every Friday night that we have went on a date night, My husband and I have to deal with unsupervised teens. They talk, play with cell phones, kick seats, feet all over the seats in front of them. If you ask them to stop, they are very rude and disrespectful. These Teens are always without adult supervision. If your child is dropped off, you should follow them in the theatre and watch their behavior without them knowing you are watching them. If it were my child. They would not be allowed to go with their friends unsupervised.
