I have used Kimmy several times in the past, most recently to alter my wedding dress. She did a phenomenal job!!!! I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do this for me. She is always friendly, reliable and fairly priced. Her shop is also very clean! I will continue to go to Kimmy in the future.

Blind seamstress with little sewing ability!Yani hemmed a few pairs of pants for me and she was fast, did a good job, her price was very reasonable, and a pleasant person. I was so pleased that I referred her to friends and family and searched my closet for more clothes that I hadn't worn because they needed alterations so she could fix them.My previous enjoyable experience with Perfect Alterations all changed after I brought a V cut dress to her. She added fabric to the center of it so that it was not revealing. When I picked it up, at first glance it looked fine, (she didn't ask me to try it on) but when I put it on for my engagement portrait session the next day, it was obviously crooked by about 1/2 inch. It was so obvious that I asked the photographer to not photograph me straight on and ended up changing into other outfits for the rest of the session. I moved 2 hours away shortly after that. Several months later when I was back in town, I took the dress to her so she could fix it. I also brought another pair of pants for her to hem. She was defensive toward me and refused to admit that she sewed it crooked. She blamed me for waiting too long, (it shouldn't matter,) washing the dress, (which I didn't do,) my body being crooked, (it’s not,) my straps needing to be adjusted, (they were perfectly symmetrical) I was too picky, (I’m not)…whatever she could come up with to divert the blame from herself. Everyone that I have shown the dress to sees that it is obviously sewn crooked. I was not mad. I just wanted her to make the material straight so I could wear it. She refused to admit it’s crooked, or fix it, and would not hem my pants, either. She claimed my pants were too stretchy and that they could not be hemmed. The pants are 60% poly, 35% rayon, and only 5% spandex. If I'm not mistaken, this is a normal material blend and should be able to be hemmed. Since she can't sew straight, won't fix her mistakes, & can't hem dress pants, I don't recommend her.
I love Jackie's! Have done business with her for years and I highly recommend this precious lady. Her work is excellent and she has always been totally dependable.
fast. friendly. great work. only one I'd go to!
I thought I try her. Just a pair of sweat pants that were too long. Unfortunately, they weren't done right. We measured from he inseam and one leg was 1.25 shorter!. She only measured one and then was going to match the other. Not even close.
After dropping my wedding dress off on a Thursday, she told me to come back next Friday for a fitting. When I returned the following Friday, she had "forgotten" to work on it. So I had to return the following day (Saturday). Instead of calling me when she determined there was't enough material to let out in an area, she simply removed the seam and told me she would input some more material (without asking me first!) She told me initially she would steam the dress afterwards, but when I returned to pick up the dress, it was not steamed... I was done. Alterations were ok and dress will be fine for my wedding... but customer service is lacking.
Little Asian lady runs this place. She does good work, but don't expect her to hang about and chat. She is down to business. Also she does not accept credit cards so be ready with cash or a check. Her prices are competitive. I had her let out some dress slacks for my husband with only 3 days notice and she charged me $14.00.
