Go somewhere else! I was scheduled to be on the table at 1:00 PM. I showed up at 1:10 pm .......... TEN minutes late and was told that they had put someone else on the table. They told me I was supposed to be there at 12:40 to fill out paperwork. That paperwork would have taken me maybe 5 minutes. If they schedule appointments even 1/2 hour apart, that would mean they weren't expecting me to be off that table until 1:30, so HOW IN THE HECK....... was my time already gone only 10 minutes into the appointment. Obviously, they were behind and went on and let someone else ahead of me. They probably had a 2pm appointment and were afraid they would get even further behind so decided to take it out on me. I had traveled an hour to get there, had two people take an afternoon off from work AND had a follow up appointment with my orthopedic surgeon for three hours later. They were rude and kept saying "well you were late"....... and talking to me like I was a grade schooler. Forget how much money they were going to be paid for MY procedure. They act like they were doing me a favor!!!! They called my doctor and told him the issue and that they couldn't get it done today; basically canceled my doctor appointment too! They had no business doing that! I still need my MRI and I'm NOT going to get it done here..........no matter what the cost. This place needs to remember that they have CUSTOMERS and that they are NOT the only place to get this done in a big town like Lexington, Kentucky.
I had a 1:45pm appointment today. I arrived at 1:30pm and completed their paperwork by 1:45pm. I then waited...and waited...and waited. At 3:15pm, I asked what delay was and was told they were short one technician. I was then 2nd in line. At 4:00pm, I was still 2nd in line. The 1st in line had been there since 12:00(noon)!!!! As I was leaving, another person waiting commented on me leaving. I told him that I didn't know how long it would yet be with 1 technician short. He asked, "What do you mean? They told me that there was a problem with their contrast controls." They had told 2 different excuses to two different patients!!!! They were inconsiderate to the patients by not immediately informing them upon arrival of their problems. They didn't tell anybody anything until I had gone up to the counter and complained. I wonder if they would have ever said anything?!?! I will inform all physicians that I have of my problems today and recommend that they don't refer their patients to this place!!!
