Kroger

I'm in this Kroger regularly. It isn't the staff's fault that the store is so small; but I like the cozy size and friendly people. If you need something out of the ordinary, they try to accommodate. They don't have every item that larger stores have; but have a much bigger selection than any of the small independent groceries in Lexington, and they honor all of the sale prices that the other Krogers do. All in all, it is a good store, and the community is much better off with a local grocery than without one.

This Kroger has the rudest employees of any Kroger I have been to. They are not friendly whatsoever, they ignore you, they practically walk right into you and say nothing. I have been made to feel in the way, totally insignificant and completely unwanted. I am SHOCKED that a store manager would allow a store to have this sort of unwelcome feel to it. I go there because I can often find great deals on manager special. If it were not for that, I would never go. At least when I go there, I am not confused about the level of service, I already know it stinks!

I really like this little store. I have never had trouble parking, the lot is busy but you can always get a spot. As far as selection, I completely disagree with the earlier review. Their selection is limited but they have more name brand items than Kroger brand. I wouldn't recommend shopping here for a week's worth of groceries, but this place is great for a quick mid-week stop. The staff has always been excellent and know you by name.

The only reason we go here is it is close to our home. The selection is limited - if it is not Kroger brand you probably won't find it. The parking lot is a nightmare - usually no parking and the slope is so bad you struggle to get your groceries in your car without the cart rolling away. The staff, with a few exceptions, is rude.

I love the store because it is small and right next to our apartment. Unfortunately, because it is small, selection is not as wide.
