Beware of this gas station. The pumps do not respond properly. You are not prompted to pump once you have paid. The pump screen goes blank and you have to guess what to do. Receipts are not available. Upon complaining about this the checkout girl, who was watching a movie on her phone, said that these problems have bee there for a long time and complaining does no good. She said some foriegn company bought the place and will not fix anything.
ABSOLUTE SHIT. worst service I have ever received. As a matter of fact, I received no service because this location decided to close down at 1:30 AM however they are 24/7. Every time I come to this location, doors are locked. Don’t Bother trying. Speedway is 2 miles down road and ALWAYS open with friendly staff. Shell is declining in customer service, cleanliness and professionalism. Shame on you
Prices keep Changing bought a 2 liter and a bag of barcel chips one night for $3.24 next night I went back and bought a 20oz bottle of soda listed at .99¢ and another bag of the same chips and it was $4.24 a dollar more also the guy at the register was rude.
Umprofessional....i try calling the store no one would answer for 30 minutes...so i call another store. ..the guy who answer was rude and had snare comments

THIS EMPLOYEE SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY This morning I was taking one of my rescue dogs to have him neutered and get shots. I stopped at a gas station as my fuel range was quite low. Imagine my surprise when I opened my wallet and it was empty. I took the dog on to his appointment and drove back to the apartment. The fuel range was now showing ZERO. I called Duane. He checked and I had left everything in the jeep which was with him at work in Frankfort. I took $25 in quarters from our change jar and went to the closest gas station, the Shell Mart. I walked in and the cashier immediately smiled. I said ,"I'm sorry but this is all I have". He responded, "I'm not taking that. ""Are you joking?""No. I will not take it. I have all the change I need. If I take it I have to count it now and then count it again tonight and I'm not going to do that. " (maybe I'm wrong but I thought at least part of a cashiers job is to count money. I also thought with the state of the economy that a paying customer would be appreciated not turned away.)This exchange continued and I got heated and I said a few words I wouldn't have said in front of my mother. I pointed out that $10 of the money was in a roll from the bank. He suggested that I go to Krogers. I explained that I had made it there on a fume and a prayer and I NEEDED GAS. He was still unmoved. I was in tears. Another gentleman was behind the counter with George ( the rude cashiers name) and suggested that he could take the roll of quarters. I have no idea who he was or what his position there may be but I am grateful he was there. Finally George agreed to take the roll of quarters. This station is owned by Thoroughbred Energy LLC. Their phone number is 859-288-0000 Please spread the word about how they treat customers that pay with the only type of currency they have at the time. I have stopped there many times but will not go back again. Share this post. Tell your friends. Avoid the Shell station on Richmond Rd just off New Circle. Sandy Preston was the person this happened to. I believe this company should reach out to this lady and offer her an apology AND some free gas since she was harassed by an employee of yours.
Worst place I have ever been to! I have been there 4 times and every time they try and over charge me and cheat me out of money some how! When I say something about being over charged the younger guy with the gold teeth says oh well it is just a few dollars.....huh really well that couple of dollars is my hard earned money not his!!! Never will I ever go there again! Also I am reporting them to the BBB. They shouldn't be allowed to do that to people I know if they have done it to me they do it to other people!
i went to this gas station to purchase some gas and the attendant and was discriminated against because i had on a beanie, it was below 30 degrees n they made me take off my hat because the employee say he was robbed before. to me this is racial profiling and a clear violation of a pay customer rights. i will not ever spend another dime here and encourage others not to be a target like me and shop else where.
