They seem to focus on name brand only even if it's not something I'd want to own. End up digging through hundreds of items and only liking maybe 5. Then there's selling. OMG, they suck. They barely give you any money but recently was awful. Gave them 24 hours (the amount of time they quoted) and then called to ask if they were done because I was in the area. They had 1 person ahead of me who wasn't there waiting and apparently me having a schedule did not matter at all. If I'm barely getting money for expensive name brand items, caring about my schedule and getting it done in a reasonable time frame are important. They clearly disagreed with that. Never returning. Will sell my items and shop elsewhere. A company that doesn't care about customers is just that.

They've always been great with buying back my daughters clothes. Of the stores to sell gently used clothes to in Lexington, they are by far the best. Only issue I have (and honestly it's not terrible) is I usually have to wait an hour bc there is someone ahead of me. But that's not nearly as bad as being told by Once Upon A Child that they don't know if they'll even get to my buy bc they're too busy.
super store of good finds. Love it and will be back
I have been selling my gently used kids clothing for years. However, every time I have sold to rekid I never got much of a return. I have always had to drop off my clothing to pick up at a later date due to poor staffing I assume. But it's very bad business to return and find they take a few items and I'm left with 5.00 or less. Whereas once upon a child always has my buy done in a timely manner and I leave usually very happy with my buy and don't feel cheated. I gave rekid a few good chances but unfortunately they always let me down. Buying is sometimes a good choice, selling however...beware
I went into the Moore Drive location recently and upon my entrance none of the employees greeted me. I walked around the store for 10-15 minutes and not 1 person approached me to ask if I even needed help. They were not busy at all. The funny thing about this place is the clothes seemed to be outdated and overppriced. I noticed there were 3-4 elderly women in there shopping, which seemed to cater to them only. I will continue to shop at nicer upscale boutiques instead like Steinmart. At least their employees greet you and they are a much bigger store!!
