I used EatStreet to place an order at a local restaurant. After 30 minutes, I got worried because it's not normal for it to take that long. I live relatively close to the place I ordered from. I called the number provided and it rang for a solid 2:35 before anyone answered. The lady that answered was rude and told me that It had only been 32 minutes since I placed the order and I'd be looking at, atleast another hour till I get my food. NEVER ORDER FROM ANYONE THAT USES THIS COMPANY!!!!! For the $12 they charged to deliver, I could have gone and got it myself!
I had a kofta burger and a slice of a strawberry cake. Both of them were delicious! I recommend their food.
I have had semi-good experiences with Takeout Taxi in the past. Yes, it's overpriced and often slow. Some orders were not complete, but overall it was about what I expected, maybe a 3-star experience. My two most recent experiences were unacceptable. I wrote a detailed email including the dates and times of orders, what was wrong (2.5 hour wait and less than courteous driver; food being placed in bag sideways, resulting in mostly inedible meal). I received no reply.Ignoring someone who has been a regular customer is never a good idea. I have not had these problems with the competitor, LexEatIn. LexEatIn will now be getting all of my delivery business.
This service is absolutely HORRID!!! The only reason I gave one star is because you have to. I placed an order with this company last week at 2pm in the afternoon, at the 3:30 mark I called to see where my food was and they told me they were busy and it should be at my home shortly. I called again at 4:30pm ( food still not here, my family screaming in the background about wanting their food.) and was told the same thing. I called back at 5pm and they said the driver was on my street. The order did not get to my house until 5:30pm and when the kid brought it to the door HE REAKED of cig smoke!!! I took the bags into my house and immediately lost my appetite the bags, containers even some of the food, and the drink bottles permeated cig smoke, it was the most disgusting thing! I called to inform the management of the issue and they said that I was mistaking as none of their drivers smoke -___-. CLEARLY this one does I spent 60 dollars on food that night that we threw away, and ended up driving subway for our dinner! I will NEVER order from this site again, I have however found another site, http://www.lexeatin.com/ I've only used it once but they seem to have it together over there!
I've ordered from Takeout Taxi multiple times over the past year, and as of late, their service quality has been terrible. Too often are the drivers WAAAYY over their time approximation [by 30-45 minutes], the food is destroyed by the hectic driving, or the order is wrong. Tonight was the fourth time in a row that our experience has been of poor quality. From everything to having our food flipped upside down and mixed altogether in the container it has been brought in to the driver blatantly stating that he "didn't look at my order when he picked it up, so how was he supposed to know I had drinks with it?". When ordering from them at my work, I've NEVER had a problem, but getting them to deliver to our house is a nightmare. The first time we had a bad experience is was the time issue/delay. The driver didn't bother to call us to let us know that his tire had blown on us, leaving us wondering where our food was over an hour and a half until I called the company myself to get an answer & still waited another 30 minutes, when their site had stated that the delivery would take 30-60 minutes. The second time, we were wary, but gave them another try, and had our food flip flopped all over the place due to sloppy driving & the drinks weren't what we ordered. The third time, our drinks weren't even acknowledged, and were incorrect when the driver pulled what he had out of his vehicle. The fourth time, tonight, we waited 2 hours for our food to arrive, after the driver called 45 minutes after we placed the order to get directions to our house. We called the company at around the hour mark to see what the problem was, and their answer was "It's a busy night". Which, okay, cool...if we hadn't already had bad experiences three times before. The driver called us at the 2 hour mark to apologize for being late and explain that his last delivery involved delivering to a crippled person who took awhile to get to the door and said he would throw in another 6 pack of coke. At this point, we were just ready to have our food delivered and be done with them entirely. We don't order delivery very often, and we liked the idea this company had with bringing food from restaurants that don't normally deliver...but with our experiences, we're ready to throw in the towel on Take Out Taxi of Lexington...because waiting for 2 hours on food we could've gotten as carry out ourselves from the restaurant across town in less time...just isn't worth the money or bother.
ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW ZERO STARS!My service experience with Takeout Taxi of Lexington has been abysmal. I tried them using a Groupon deal I had bought. My order came okay, but a couple days later I saw the charge hit my credit card and saw they did not credit the Groupon and charged my card the full amount of the order. Mistakes happen and it would not have been a big deal if they had corrected it, but they have not.Once I saw the incorrect charge on my credit card ( two days after the order/delivery) I phone Takeout Taxi and explained what had happened. The person on the phone was apologetic and assured me they would process a credit to correct the over-charge. I thought &quot;great, problem solved.&quot;No credit was processed, so I called again a few days later. Again, the person I spoke with was apologetic and assured me that it would be corrected this time. The result was the same - no correction was made, so a week later I called for a 3rd time. I was told the credit would absolutely be processed this time, but it never was.Takeout Taxi management is either hopelessly inept, or does not care about providing customers with good quality and honest service. Either way, I would not recommend doing business with them to anyone!
Fresh Fannies is awesome! They make cloth diapering super convenient. I loved the diapers delivered to our door. They are so friendly!
