I love my church! I never knew that a present-day Acts 2:42-47 church existed. I thought this Acts 2 concept was something in history ... long gone ... something from the past to read about. Then I started going to Quest Community Church! Quest is a community of Christ-followers that do life together. It's not a "Sunday only" community. It's a group of devoted followers of Christ that want to help, encourage, support, and comfort one another as we walk daily with Christ and each other. I have never seen or experienced any community quite like it... a community that is constantly reaching out and drawing others in. Christ is the focus of everything that goes on at Quest. Pastor Pete leads this community closer and closer to Jesus. God's Hand is on this church! The Holy Spirit is moving mightily throughout this community of Christ-followers. Come join us!
Quest Community Church is a church that truly lives Jesus' vision of His bride. For years, I felt disqualified from church but at Quest, I was greeted with love, love, and more love from the moment I set foot on campus; those at Quest made it known that I was not disqualified, but actually invited to be a part of the Church! I soon realized the people at Quest were authentic and truly cared about me. I soon started going to The Mat, Quest's recovery group, and gave my life to Jesus! Pastor Pete Hise makes shares the Gospel clearly, lovingly, and Biblically. Quest is all about community, transformation, healing, inviting in the lost , and ultimately leading people to Jesus. Quest is my church home!
My family and I first came to Quest Community Church in 2009 and this has been our home church ever since then. I absolutely love the community here and now have so many friends. Quest is the friendliest church I have ever been to, and even though it's a large church my LifeGroup makes it feel small and personal. The lead pastor, Pete Hise, delivers challenging messages that always lead to The Cross and to Jesus. And, the worship band is always entertaining! When I came to Quest, I was a controlling, depressed person and now I am free, loving and open-handed living for Jesus. This is truly and amazing place and an amazing community.
Quest Community Church isn't like any church I've ever experienced. It has a unique meld of people who are searching for truth in their lives, and of those who have found it. Lead pastor Pete Hise, and the other teaching pastors are engaging, dynamic and always point toward Jesus. My kids look forward to Sunday and I feel great leaving them with the staff and volunteers in kids quest, where they are loved and taught how much God loves them. Since coming to Quest, my life and the lives of my family have been forever changed. I am proud to call Quest Community Church my church home.
I love Quest. The first time I attended I couldn't believe how relevant the teaching was. I'd always yawned my way through church services wondering how this christian stuff applied to me. After attending Quest for a couple weeks I realized that the most relevant and real thing about this church is the way they genuinely love Christ and let that love overflow to those around them. So come check it out. Be 100% yourself and realize that there is an authentic community of people that are all on this spiritual journey together.
I have lived in the north Lexington community of Loradale for, well, a long time. Old Union has been the church that my family has been a part of off and on for all that time. It is a wonderful, small and loving group of people always willing to lend a hand, provide food or help in any way. They are not fancy, and they seem real honest about their faith in Jesus, not pushy. The pastors have always been very attentive to me and my family. My granmother's funeral was wonderfully done. It is a wonderful, loving and simple place.
I have attended FCC my entire life, my Mother was a charter member. I have known a great number of the ministers and youth ministers also. The church a tradisonly church we still use the hum book put have power point display, along with a Bose sound system and the autrouim seats 250.
Quest Community Church is a loving place full of real, authentic people. The church has such a heart for people from every walk of life. Pastor Pete and the teaching team make the gospel so clear and real for every day living.
Matthew 16:18 KJV And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
The people are really friendly :) Seems to be a family oriented church - lots of kids. In my opinion, doctrinally sound and has good worship.
