they don't have a star low enough to rate them.they ether owe the techs money or they will not sent the part to fix the problem. leaving the tech and customer hanging out to dry.
We have been clients of Computer Geekz since 2007? they keep our personal and business computers running smoothly. Have had no problems in a long time and then stumped by an under warranty machine we were told to take it to Best Buy "Geek Squad" - due to the build company being in California. We asked for a simple diagnostic. After 2 days we picked up our machine and were told the motherboard need to be replaced, or we should ship it to California. The whole idea was for my son to build and learn with this machine. Digital Storm was prepared to send us a new motherboard. I decided to call Computer Geekz and explain the situation, they sent Tary Fuller out that next evening. And as soon as he looked at it, Tary noticed that the Mother board was not plugged in to the internal power supply. I should have known, however to make a long story a little shorter. This company is the best, especially Tary, Who will always be our go to tech, as long as he tolerates us!!!
They don't come to Richmond to service computers, but Terry was kind enough to call and try to walk me through my problem. My friend in Lexington uses their service and says it is outstanding.
I did work for these guys and they wont even pay me for it the TV got fixed but I never got paid for the job what a bunch of losers, on top of that the customer was waiting a month before they sent a tech out
Great service. I've used them for years for home and business. It is the same two men every time. I am picky about who I let into my home these days. These two are safe and straight arrows. I often pay $65 and its fixed withing a day or so. Tonight they came within 3 hours of my call. I've never seen them stumped. Great intelligent technicians. Real pro's. Bobby Jones Electronics is the most disorganized company I have ever worked with.They farm out their warranty and onsite work to other organizations and are terrible at keeping in contact and documenting what they do.We are one of the firms that worked with them and will NEVER do this again.They have defaulted on paying their bills for over 6 months after jobs have been completed to 100% satisfaction.They also do not explain everything to the customer and do not send all required parts for the initial visit. We had to re-visit a customer and use parts off of old equipment on new because wires and other parts were missing.Stay away from these people. They do not talk to each other in the office, They only have email and instant messaging. I have tried for months to get in touch with the customer service manager Ben Malkin after our initial talks and he disappeared and nobody knows where he is and they say he is the only one that can assist me. What kind of organization does not have verbal communication with employees and also drops the ball when a person is not available…. Especially for months at a time when there is a billing issue.Customer and Technicians BEWARE…. I am surprised that this company is still in business!! We purchased a Haier washing machine about 3 months ago. After 2 days of using it, it starts to leak. We called Haier and they told us Bobby Jones Electronics will be the people who will fix our washing machine.. We call them and tell them it is leaking and they say okay we will order the parts... how do they know which parts to order if they don't come out and look at it?? So a month later our parts come in...a part time guy comes over and tells us they are not the right parts... we call bobby jones and they tell us they will order more parts... a month and a half later the parts come in... and WHAT DO YOU KNOW!!! THEY ARE THE WRONG PARTS!! These people are ridiculous! One of the guys at Bobby Jones has the nerve to tell me they have a 99% satisfaction rating!!!These people are idiots! I'm upset that I have to actually give them a star to rate them!
I hesitate in even giving a 1 star but, since I'm not offered the choice of a negative one star, I had to choose the one star choice. There are a lot of penny auctions to choose from on the www. With all the options, I would never recommend YourPennyWins. The reason: you will not receive the item(s) that you win. I won and auction in Oct. 2011 and as of 12/19/2011, and after 3-4 emails, I still have not received my won item. "MyPennyWins" may be a good name for this penny auction site however, they need to add to the decription, "your penny wins but, we do not guarantee you will receive your won item".
