Overall

Maybe the worst customer service and policy of any retailer. I purchased an egress well for a rental property that I had just bought in the area. I usually go to Lowe's for these purchases but wanted to try Menards because they had the product on the shelf. Unfortunately I returned the egress well because of issues with the contractor. I returned to find out that the product I bought, even though it was still on order, that I had to pay a 25% return fee. I told the manager Tony Williams that I didnt know about the return fee and that I had not even gotten the product and it was not even 24 hours but I was going to be charged a return fee. I asked for his manager and he said he does not have one the next person in line is MR. Menard??? This is crazy that you get charged a 25% restock fee for something you don't even have. Tony told me many places charge a restock fee.. I said who charges a restock fee and he said there are some. I said not 25%. He had nothing but for me to call Mr. Menard. So if Mr Menard would like to call me and tell me why he lost a customer on the first transaction with a store I look forward to his call.

Thanks,

Don
