Emilie Towing and Recovery

My brother was in a terrible accident on Mother's Day night, which was horrible enough. His car was towed by Emilie Towing Company and my sister and I went there Monday to clean the car out and Barry couldn't have been more than helpful! He was amazing and so helpful which was great, especially in such an emotional situation. I would highly recommend this business because they are very caring and understanding.

Response time was very prompt

Their tow truck drivers are very unprofessional and think they rule the road. They think they can do illegal and unsafe things and get away with it! Do not use this service! There was a woman I knew who was a pregnant nonsmoker and the driver smoked in her car while trying to start it! Like i said, VERY unprofessional!

Absolutely terrible.

Flat tire along NJ Turnpike at 2PM
They said their ETA was 4:30
It was sweltering hot and without food/water we couldnt stay there.
Driver assured us it was okay to leave the bike (Progressive ok-ed it) and that he was nearby.
We locked up the bike to a nearby grate just to be safe and left around 4PM thinking the driver would come soon to get the bike.

We kept in touch over text message after we left and he was dodgy and just spoke incoherently.

What happened?
He picked up more jobs along the way INSTEAD and at 730 messages saying he has NO IDEA where the bike is. WTF.

Police came by and impounded the bike because it was abandoned and a different towing company came and took the bike.

When we complained they said it was out of area where they can tow things.
THEY SAID THIS AFTER THE FACT.
I called the next day to complain only to speak with the most ignorant, unintelligible dispatcher who never called back after promptly hanging up.

This company was extremely quick considering the situation. The driver and his partner took very good care of me and my vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again! Thanks for the great service!
