The owners have little to no involvement with the children themselves. They're disorganized and quick to find blame and take minimal responsibility or work on solutions. Placing your child here would be a disservice to you and more importantly your child. As working parents we intrust our children's well being in the hands of strangers so that we can provide for them. So as dutiful parents we seek aid from child care establishments such as this, who's sole responsibility is to take our children and help teach them the basic skills that we as parents would do on a day to day basis. So if you share some of the same perspective as this, then as a parent myself I can not recommend this school in the slightest bit. While I can't speak of all the staff present at that school (at the time of this review) most have minimal expertise/schooling when it comes to early education. What a majority of them have is a child care certificate (which can now be attained online) or a week of training.

So overall I think this center is great, very pleased with most staff I notice they are great with all children and are always supper attentive to there needs. But one thing that I thought was very unprofessional is witnessing a teacher talking very rudely of a parent to another parent. This teacher i thought highly of until I seen this. I am very unhappy!
What!!! I agree with John...we LOVE this place. They are amazing! Our two boys are currently enrolled and they love school. My oldest is already working on sight words and writing skills...they have adorable homework folders. They are so caring and kind. Highly recommend
Not sure what this reviewer is talking about perhaps she a daycare in competition in the childcare business. I have had 3 of my children go through Teaching Wonders and we loved the entire experience and would highly recommend it to others. Perhaps this person has a unpaid bill or something not sure why the hostility. They do not use tv and even taught my children sign language basics.
By far the worse place to have your children. Unless you are related to them or don't care how your child is looked after you will not feel like your child is safe or in a good environment. I was enrolled with two of the classrooms and didn't find either of them to be beneficial for us. My oldest was watching up to 2 movies a day, that's at LEAST 2 hours of TV and even my youngest in the toddler room was watching TV. I am sorry but I don't paid for people to just stick my children in front of the TV, I could bring them to work if that's all I wanted for them. My kids had limited outside time and when they did it was 30 minutes tops, which hardly seems enough when they are there from 8am - 5pm. They slacked on the academics portion of the school as well. When I tried to address my concerns they told me I was in the wrong. I believe you should be able to talk to the teachers and owner about any issue there may be. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILDREN THERE.
Northwest Child Development Center is an amazing place to send your children. I am so happy I found this place with the amazing staff and teachers you cant get better than this.
