I used to love the Leo-Cedarvi...

I used to love the Leo-Cedarville Subway. I was a regular customer there for some time. I looked forward to the "soup season", where they would serve up their Broccoli and Cheese soup (My all time favorite). I was SHOCKED today when I went in to order my usual soup and sandwich... I told the young lady behind the counter that I wanted a bowl of the broccoli and cheese - please! She pulled out this little, tiny bowl and got ready to fill it. I said, "Is that a small?" She said "This is our regular size now." I said "You've got to be kidding! Surely, it's not the same price, is it?" she said "Honestly, I don't know..." she turned to the manager and asked if the prices were the same as the big bowls. The manager said "Yes... We‘ve been giving out the bigger bowls for some time, but these are what we‘re supposed to be selling now." I said "Wow - NEVER MIND"!! I didn't like paying the $3.99 for the big bowls that were probably 2 cups, but the soup was so good, I overlooked the high price. Now they want the same price ($3.99) for what looks like a half cup!!!! Not going to happen!

I don't know if it's just this store that’s doing this or all of them yet, but SHAME on subway for this price gouge on their soups!!! I will never again buy this outrageously overpriced soup! I always went to the Leo Subway, even though other stores may have been closer, because the Leo store made their soup much thicker... The other locations nearby liked to water down their soups till they had the consistency of water. I guess I can go to any nearby location for the sandwich now - as that’s all I’ll be buying from Subway from here on out.
