Kansas Granite Mart

We went to their Lenexa showroom. The person that finally looked up from her cellphone to greet us was not very knowledgeable. Many of the drawers in the displays did not open easily.
The “greeter” never did check with us to see if we had any questions or if she could help us. As we were leaving, we heard her talking to someone on her phone about having “gotten the invitation”.
A very unprofessional business...doesn’t take long to rule them out.

Contracted them to do our granite counter tops and tile back splash. They advertised a backsplash package for $700. My package was bumped up to $800 due to size, fine. They advertised they would tear out the existing tile, repair the drywall and then re-install new tile. When the CONTRACTED tile setter showed up he did not cover ANYTHING in my house. There was motor on my brand new wood floors, brand new stainless appliances and brand new counter tops. The worst was they didn't repair the large holes in the drywall so when he installed the tile some of them are recessed and some are popping out, tile is set crooked and cut totally off! The best is they cut the tile too close around the outlets and you cannot put the outlets in the electrical box there for you cannot put outlet covers on! KGM's response....they think the tile job can be repaired but it is going to cost them more to fix it so they are just walking away from the job and leaving me to hire a new contractor to tear it out and start all over. BTW - they fired the tile setter because mine was the 3rd job he screwed up!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They claim "satisfaction guaranteed" as long as it doesn't cost them too much money to fix it!
