Overall

My six year old son had his first lesson a couple of days ago. The "teacher" yelled at him multiple time when he would not jump into the pool (an exercise they do at the end of the class - all other students, who had been taking classes for a while, were jumping without problems). My son kept saying he was afraid and scared. When the teacher realized she was not going to be successful in getting him to jump (because he was scared to death), she yelled at him "go to the showers! You are kicked out of this class". My son never wants to go back there and may never want to take swimming classes again. My advice: don't come close to this place.

Aquatics

I wanted to rave a bit about Elite Aquatic and my son's experience. He loves the water at the age of 7 but is not a good swimmer. He wanted to be involved in an activity while my daughter was in her gymnastics class, and conveniently, swimming lessons were right there. What a great idea!! My son succeeded in learning how to tread water quickly, learn some strokes, and the back float all in a matter of 6 weeks. Because of this, he was able to pass the swim test for Summer camp and is now able to go anywhere in the city swimming pools, including the diving boards and slides. I have never seen my son so excited..and I owe all of it to Elite because of their no nonsense, experienced teachers. And, I no longer fear my sons ability to swim in deep water which is huge for a parent. Thank you sooo much Elite!!! :-)

Wonderful class experiences!

Our daughter has throughly enjoyed taking her gymnastics and swim classes at Elite since we stumbled upon them last summer after moving here from MI. She LOVES her teachers, her friends in class and the staff at Elite. The classes are offered at times convenient for most peoples schedules and the teachers have all been wonderfu. We have heard GREAT things about the parties held at Elite from other parents while watching the kids from the observation room. The Treehouse alone is worth the price of admission! They also offer open gym and parent nights out for reasonable pricing. Danielle is doing well in her classes and we hope to continue at Elite for some time.
