The Blue Mountain Health System offers a range of inpatient and outpatient medical care services. It provides vascular testing, mammography, ultrasound and cardiac rehabilitation solutions. The system also offers adult behavioral, diagnostic imaging and skilled nursing care services. The Blue Mountain Health System s hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission. Operational for more than 150 years, it serves the residents of Palmerton in Pennsylvania. The system administers several community outreach programs. It includes Palmerton Hospital, which is 70-plus-bed community health care facility. The parent company also manages Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, which is a nonprofit 110-plus-bed community center. In addition, it operates The Summit at Blue Mountain, which is a 90-plus-bed nursing and rehabilitation center
