I took my mini dachshund to the Emergency Vet in Leesburg this week because her eye was milky white and she was in a lot of pain. The drs and technicians were extremely professional, explained their limitations and told me to take her to my regular vet asap. I did and my vet agreed with all that the emergency vets did and medicines prescribed. This place was a relief to have when you know your animal would have suffered for hours if they weren't there. Absolutely no complaints-- only praise and thankfulness.

I took my 1 year old chorkie there last night because he escaped and ran in the road. He ended up getting hit and I rushed him there and they took my baby back right away to examine him. They were extremely compassionate when I started crying. Very professional place with Drs that love their patients. My baby loves the dr he had. That spoke volumes bc he's like my child! Thank you all for the great work you do.

I would give them zero stars if possible. They are cold and have no compassion. Only care about money. I took my dog in there when he was hit by a car and they didn't do anything for him other than take x-rays that he didn't need (he didn't have any broken bones, I was worried about internal bleeding) give him pain meds (which they didn't give him enough to even make it through the weekend and refused to give him any more) and tell me to call my regular vet. Never, ever take your pet here. There are much better emergency vet hospitals in Orlando and it's worth the drive (I've used the one in Casselberry and the one in Oviedo several times, with excellent results over the years). I will never bring another animal here. Over $600.00 for nothing.

how are they still in business

Well I am over 3 hours on my visit. I brought my kitten in because it had a cut on its leg and it was dragging it. We thought it maybe broken and looked bad. When we got here the situation was explained and that it just happened and the cat had just gone outside 4 hours before we got to the vet. We thought maybe it was a snare or a trap somehow that it got caught on. Well after 2 hours of our kitten being in the back and we are waiting the whole time. They came in and told us that they were fixing to look at trying to stitch it back up and xray its foot to see if it is broken. We finally got a look at the cost of the bill which was going to be 960 for an xray and some bandaging on the kitten. This was no splint or anything more. We declined the service only for my mom to later hear one of the ladies working there make a statement that she thinks we were lying about what happened. This place is very unprofessional I dont have to lie to someone on the 4th of july to pay double the price to make sure my cat is okay if I could wait till the next day and take him to my vet that knows what they are doing. We have been here going on 3 hours and officially had the worst service I have ever had and have not seen what the bill is still going to be for nothing done.

I took my dog to this place after a little child had stepped on my dog's back. My dog is a service dog and was 4 years old. When I took my dog to this clinic, she was dragging her back legs in pain. The clinic gave me pain pills with a hefty bill to boot. I brought my dog home and gave her the pills for two days. After that second day, my dog began to bleed rectally. I immediately took her back to the clinic and they wanted to put her down. I cried and began to call my family for advice. My family advised against the clinic's advice and I brought my dog home. 1 week later, my dog was running around and playing as usual. Now this place told me that there was no hope for my dog. They had previously put down two other pets before I took my dog in the second time. They just want to kill our animals and not do their jobs! Then they had the nerve to want me to pay them! Take me to court you pet killers!!

My 16 yr old girl dog decided on a late Saturday night that she wanted to say goodbye, She was in pain and so they took her back and helped her go to the rainbow bridge, they knew how much I was hurting and was very kind. The staff put her remains in a nice box and even taped real flowers to the box.I so appreciate all the kindness they showed to her and me..They will be my vet of choice from now on..

Slow and expensive

Went in, waited 2 hours before the vet came in to look at dog's ruptured cyst. Cleaned it and put a bandage on it, which took another hour. A 3 hour and 300 dollar ordeal... The dog stopped bleeding before he was examined.

Highly Recommended!

Although they were quite busy the Sunday morning I had to bring him in for emergency care, my 1 year old Maine Coon cat was never-the-less provided with prompt and courteous attention. I found him earlier that morning at home dripping small beads of diluted blood and crying out periodically in pain especially when I tried to touch him. Once in their hands, their medical team started their diagnosed and quickly determined the cause of his problem as being a blocked urinary tract. His treatment began immanently beginning with pain killers and relieving his, by then, bloated bladder. I had to leave him there overnight but felt confident that he was in the best of hands. Although I had to bring him to my regular vet the following morning for followup treatment, for all intensive purposes, I could tell that he was well on his way towards a complete and successful recovery when we left. Both their admin and medical staff were top notch and the documentation I received couldn't be more thorough. Its been over a week now without a recurrence and he's still back to his normal self, doing just fine. Its as if nothing happened.

Very Compassionate

I took our cat into the clinic on July 4, 2009 and the entire staff was very nice and considerate. Yes, they get estimates together before any treatment and I can understand why. I ended up having to have our cat put to sleep and they were very caring. Everyone was nice. I will go there again if I have another emergency on the weekends
