We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express while visiting some friends in The Villages, we had great time at this hotel. The location is the best, you ca…
We have been staying at the Rodeway Inn for a month now, it is one of the better hotels in the area. The pool is clean and always available to use, they have a washer and dryer on site for the guest to use, they do offer coffee only in the morning, i feel they could offer a little more perhaps english muffins, muffins or waffles. The housekeeping is friendly and has no problem making sure you have everything cleaned, the staff is nice and friendly, the location is great, shopping and food in walking distance. My only complaint is the towels and wash clothes are stained up and appear dirty though i know they have just been laundered. The price of the room is a little high for the area, i feel 40 to 45 with tax included would be a better rate, and they could offer a weekly rate of 200 to 225 since they do have a lot of long term people and families staying there. The beds are comfortable, as are the pillows, the carpets are pretty dirty from normal wear and tear and the owner did have them steamed cleaned as soon as we got there, also they charge different amounts for rooms and pets, at first i paid 10 bucks a night for my service dog, then it was 7 then it was 5. Calling other hotels and motels in the area i discovered that they do not charge if it is a service dog, however if it is a family pet it is a flat fee of 10 to 20 dollars per week. If you are nightly it is 5 a night. I feel they should follow in this area and lower their prices a tad, i did discover some of the nicer hotels in the area the best western, comfort inn, quality inn and sleep in offer full breakfast, cleaner rooms and better price, they actually charge less if you call them, so we are thinking about switching hotels, but the people that own, operate and work here are friendly and nice people, great area, just things could be a little better. all in all it is okay for a few nights.
Not sure where they got the picture from, but the hotel is nasty, most everything is broken, stained and stinks. Allot of illegal drug activities, management is foreign and barely speaks English. Not recommended.
Overall wont be going back and won't be telling anyone to go here. One, u called before hand to get an exact price got told one thing got there and got told another. Secondly, guy could barely speak english and the "boss" all but threw me out of the room. The room stunk badly. Had to kill two roaches. Refused to sleep under the blankets. I give props for a cleanish bathroom. About it.
the Worst experience I've ever had in my entire life at an "Inn". It was like being in the twilight zone. first night they say if you have a stain on your sheets we charge you so make sure all of your towels and sheets are in mint condition- yet as we saw what we had they were ALREADY STAINED!!! I returned them to not be charged - yet they ended up CHARGING us anyway, and never gave us our deposit back ( yes on top of charging us) Accidentally revealed the " stained sheets folder" to us on their computer and there were bloody sheets, looked like a murder scene, etc from thousands of guests were they evidently do this scam to every guest even though I returned them the SECOND I checked into the room so i didnt even USE them I wouldnt dare sleep with their sheets or blankets they were gross!!!!! 2ndly there's a LOT of people that LIVE there including the staff and a lot of rambunctious kids and commotion going on without parental supervision- the maintenance guy is mentally unstable and makes death threats to the kids running in the halls. they are very unprofessional , act like wannabe gangsters and will threaten you if you ever find a cockroach in your room- yet the facility is overwhelmingly infested with tiny cockroaches ( other guests who are ext stay also testify to this) they should be inspected , investigated, and condemned. They treat families like prisoners and make excuses to charge them extra money when they flat out lie to your face , leaving you in shock that the bizarr-ness is actually coming from their faces. They gang up together and are amazing at SCAMING guests- not a professional accredited facility. Not to mention the police and fire dept are there every other day- literally and also can testify of their antics ( just go ahead and call leesburg police dept and see for yourself) . IF enough guests actually report their experiences I believe 100% without a doubt they will be for closed and condemned immediately.• • •
