IF you want to get ripped off take your vehicle here. I own 3 vehicles i have purchased from here. In the last few years this place has went severely downhill. I took my van recently in because one window would not roll up, and the other was very slow. The service writer told me on the phone before i got there it was going to be window motors and regulators. I told her that they would not go out simultaneously unless there was a burnt out switch. Sure enough a few hours later i was given a 1800$ estimate to replace motors, regulators, switches, etc. I declined. I ordered a 12 DOLLAR door switch online after watching a video on You tube. Both windows work with no issue now. Do not be a victim and take your car here !
Follow up: i requested a 100$ refund for the incorrect diagnosis. I sent an email on Monday, and was told by DAVE RAMING opertions mgr. he would get back to me. On FRIDAY i sent another email back to him because i had not heard from him. His exact response was and i quote:
“Checked the diagnosis and just because a part of the electrical connection makes it work for a short period of time doesn’t mean the diagnosis isn’t correct." Thank You
Hey Nice customer service there. !! Basically an email letting me know we don't give a crap about your loyalty over the years or the fact we hosed you over. THATS ALL FOLKS ! Lost an entire family of customers and friends for life. !
Been living in Lee's Summit for about 20 years and took a pontiac to them for the first time. What a poor service department. Its obvious the service managers are on commission. A 24.00 relay with 136.00 (1.5 hours) of labor. They took advantage of the fact the car was towed there. Run, Run, to another dealer for any GM work. Be sure to tell all your friends too!
I believe Dave Cross dealership is very professional by letting you know the problem or problems you are having with your vehicle , what the cost will be and approximately how long it will take to fix the problem. If the problem is going to take somewhat longer, they will drop you off at your door step. I would recommend anyone to buy from Dave Cross.
I've purchased a 2009 and 2010 Enclave from Dave Cross Motors. Because of their integrity, I traveled to Kansas City and purchased a 2010 Buick LaCrosse for my 85 years old father. They answer every question, every phone call, and every request promptly. I now merely call Chad Cross, tell him what I want, he finds it, and we negotiate the deal over the phone. I am a very satisfied customer. That is why I travel 3 hours to buy my cars.
I would never use these guys again. I went in with my car not starting. My car sat in the lot for a full day without anyone working on it then the second day, they felt they found the problem. I finally got my car back after three days and $1,700. They never offered me a loaner car. The car drove fine for 1 week and the exact same thing happened. So I took it in there again because I figured they would help me out with the cost since they screwed up. Boy was I wrong. They charged me another $700 and confirmed that what they thought was the problem (that cost me $1700) wasn't really the problem.
After they had my car for a day the second time, I was starting to get upset so they said they would line me up with a rental car. So I got shuttled off to Enterprise Rental (Dave Cross doesn't provide loaner's themselves). I got to Enterprise and they had no cars. Dave Cross had not reserved one for me. All this after telling me that I'd have my car that day!!! They ended up keeping my car for another two days.
Also, while I had the car in the shop, I had them do a regular transmission service. The transmission was fine before they touched it and now the car shifts incredibly hard and I'm afraid my tranmission is now shot.
Whatever you do, don't let these guys touch your vehicle!!!
