I took my second 1993 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue to this dealership. I have driven them for the past 19 years and always loved them. My second one that I have had since 2013, came with a factory built alarm that caused only headhaches. It sets automatically and gets locked into an "ignition kill" mode once or twice a month and prevents the car from starting. I have to make hundredths of attempts to get the car started. I have to open and close the four doors and open the trunk to try to reset this stupid alarm! (Chrysler should have issued a recall twenty years ago, since this is a common problem with this vehicle) Furthermore, the battery gets drained because of the multiple attempts to start the car and the ligths that flash...A total nightmare. A local garage tried to repair this issue, but they were not able to fix anything. I decided to go to this local Chrysler dealer and asked to please disconnect this alarm for good if possible. I had read a lot of information on the Web, and apparently it was NOT possible to disconnect this alarm and its ignition kill feature. I was very nervous when I came to Lee's Summit Chrysler Dodge Ram. Fortunately I had great communication with the service advisor Jeffrey Snyder who assigned my car to a tenured mechanic. The latter had experience working on these classics: Dan White, the technician was able to disable the alarm for good, resolving a two year transportation crisis. In addition, I cashed in a Mopar coupon lowering my bill to $88. I feel I am driving a resurected car that I was dreading to start....It was just like a Russian Roulette...Thanks to these two men, I love driving my Chrysler that still looks and runs like a new car.
Marshall Goldstein greeted us with a smile and firm handshake. Not only was he extremely genuine and down to earth but he was professional too. He showed me a Mazda 3 2010 and from the moment I saw it, I knew it was the one. We test drove it and he told me the history on it. He was very forthcoming with all the numbers: cost, options of financing , CarFax report. Marshall and the Finance manager got me into the car and a monthly payment that was comfortable and got me a great deal on my trade in. I didn't think I would be able to get an actual dream car that I wanted. I thought I would just have to settle for a nice car with air conditioning. I ended up getting the works! Push button ignition, sunroof, leather interior, navigation, 6 disc changer with Bose speakers, alloy wheels, tinted window, low mileage and to top it off my favorite color, Silver! I'm in heaven! I came in because I had received a mailer and had been thinking about attempting to find a used car to purchase. I was assisted by Dustin Williams and was shown a used vehicle based on my specifications and was helped through the process of attempting to procure the vehicle through financing. I initially had a very dismal outlook on my financing possibilities because I had believed that with my low credit score, I would be unable to be financed for even a used vehicle. By the end of the visit here, I had financing straightened out and was informed that I had a higher credit score than I had believed and that I was eligible for certain financing options. I was given a great deal and am very excited to complete the deal and drive home in my new vehicle within the next few days. I'd rate my overall experience as highly satisfied.
I will start by saying that I wear my emotion straight on my face. The lease that I first was going to go with I was not 100% happy with, but with my credit and everything else I just figured it was the best I was going to get. David and Kristina could definitely pick up from my face that I was not 100% happy. They came back with a better deal for me on the car that I originally wanted. I am leaving the dealership happy and so incredibly satisfied with my experience. Kristina was amazing to work with, I had so much fun on the test drives, we test drove 4 cars! She is knowledgeable with VW and I appreciated her honesty when answering my question. VW has definitely gained a customer for life! I will recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone, that is my guaranteed promise as a customer. :)
I took our f150 in to get a Groupon oil change yesterday and they came out to let me know that my tags had expired. I was shocked but more so when I it was going to take to get our 2001 up to state standards. Teresa was extremely helpful, shopped for better part prices and helped make the bill a little easier to swallow. In addition they provided me a lease car to drive until I got ours done. The service personnel are excellent, courteous, and professional. They got the truck going and even though we haven't bought from them, the service department is fantastic. I will go there again and have sent my adult kids in there also.
We had an awesome experience today. Only intended to have our vehicle serviced, and was easily convinced to purchase a new Tiguan becuase of Justin. He was easily approachable, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful which swayed us toward the purchase of the car. The entire staff has been outstanding from being greeted by Mike in the service bay to the final tour given by Justin. We are pleased and happy to be a part of the Lee's Summit Volkswagen team. James has called to thank me, and the service department has already called to set up an appointment to complete the finishes on the interior and exterior of my car. Every category gets the highest score of 5, or 'yes' as the case may be, but I would double or triple James's score to a 10 or 15. He is courteous, personable, and patient without talking down to me. I also appreciated the finance man's manner and professionalism. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you for a very positive experience.
I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my 2010 VW to get an oil change when Gwendolyn approached me and asked what kind of car I was waiting on. She struck up conversation and ended up taking me outside to show me one of the newer Beetles they had. What I had expected to be a simple trip to change my oil ended in me buying a brand new 2017 Jetta all because Gwendolyn took the time to strike up a conversation with me in the waiting room. I was writing a review on an outstanding salesman, Dennis Bodenhamer, when I noticed the low service rankings and had to reply. We have had nothing but exceptional service with Honda on Colbern Road. From the courtesy of the service staff to the work performed, I would recommend them highly. Yes, cost may be a little high with Honda, but we feel we get our monies worth with the exceptional service and feel confident when we drive out the lot that we were in good hands.
