My son cried every that he had to go here. I kept asking him what was wrong, he never would give an answer. I figured another child was maybe being mean. Well today I figured out the problem. It's the owner. She was rude from the moment our encounter began today. She began by questioning as to why he doesn't come every single day, which I laughed off and stated yes he needs to come more. We pay full price though, so it doesn't really matter. She then said very loudly that "this is ridiculous" and attempted to pull my child from me, and said to him very harshly that "he needs to stop crying, he's too big to be crying" I immediately was appalled and pushed her hands off him and said excuse me, you can not be serious, you do not speak to children that way nor in front of them. I told her he would not be back, she said good because this was ridiculous. He told me afterwards that he was afraid of her because she was mean and tells him to go sit somewhere if he's just going to cry. I think she's a really crappy person to make a child feel belittled for crying. If she'll say something rude to him in that manner when I'm right there, what would she do when I'm not? I will NEVER be back. I'm sorry I ever sent my son there to begin with.
Do not take your kids here! This place thinks it's OK to scream at the kids and put their hands on them. I just put my 2 children in there 2 and a half weeks ago and I pulled them out yesterday after my son came home with marks on his face and a huge knot on his head. They said my son was lying about what happened. The owner is very unpleasant after you actually enroll your children, very sweet at first.
So glad we decided to move daycares for our 1 year old. We were nervous about the transition but he's been there 2 months now and we have zero complaints. Totally the right decision for us and our son.
Lindas is nothing less than exceptional. They treat my daughter like their own children. They genuinely care for her well being. She crys when she has to leave..she loves her fellow students & teachers! & Mrs Linda (director) is beyond amazing! True Christian woman!! I thank God everyday for a place to take my child that I don't have a worry in the world. We LOVE this place!!!
I am so upset with Kids World in Lebanon, TN. I am using a restraint that I haven't used in a long time. My son is my world and when I pay you to take care of him and he has came home with scratches on his chest and bruises on his arms where someone has grabbed him to hard. Its gone way to far! STAY AWAY FROM KIDS WORLD DAYCARE. Fathers this is to you! When our kids need protection in this world and we have to trust someone to do it when we aren't there its tough not to blow up on someone. My wife has stayed home for 2 years with my son. She has what some would all "empty nest ". Well they wouldn't let my wife have breakfast with my son. REALLY!! She came to me crying. If I could give no star. I would!!!
My son attends daycare at Tots. He loves it! The teachers are great with the kids. Their lessons are age-appropriate and well planned. They even send home great ideas for the parents. The director is wonderful as well. I'd give Tots 10 stars if possible.
awesome place for children. the teachers love the kids and treat them like their own.
I went & toured Linda's Little Ones back in September, or at least attempted to tour. I set up an appointment for a tour at 10:30am. When I arrived for the I was shocked at the fact that the doors were UNLOCKED!! I was in a state of shock at the fact I just walked into a child care facility with no problem. I stood in the doorway, looking around, waiting for someone to greet me. I saw the classroom full of children to the right of me and the children also saw me. The teacher was yelling at the children to clean up and never looked back to see who just walked in the door... I couldn't believe my eyes. I sat there for a good 8 min an finally left. When I called to let the manager/owner know what had happened her response, which was in a very nasty tone was I had to leave and buy a starving baby formula because their parents didn't have any packed. I then reminded her of the unlocked doors and she stated they NEVER lock the doors. To me this is very unacceptable. To me my daughter is my most precious value. With all the crazy people in this world who bring guns into the schools, shooting our babies why wouldn't the doors be locked. Even elementary schools keep their doors locked! I just found Linda's little ones very very unprofessional & I wouldn't trust my child or anyone else's to attend this daycare.
Awesome daycare providing diversity for bi racial children and security cameras in each room, staff is very understanding
My son went to this daycare for 4 months, and we had a bad experience. It was like pulling teeth to get any info on how he did during the day, they would not tell me how long he napped, what he ate, etc. My son was also terrified of the director. When I would go and pick him up I could hear him screaming when I walked in the front door and he would be in a dirty or wet diaper almost every time. The final straw for me was when I went to drop him off one morning and I saw the director of the daycare "playing ring toss" with the 1 - 2 yr olds and she was throwing wreaths at them, and a few of the kids were sitting in the floor crying. When I told her that it did not look like something good to be doing with the toddlers, her response to me was I haven't hit them in the head yet. Needless to say I changed daycare centers after this.
