I can't imagining going to worship any place but Southside Church of Christ. During college I attended several churches to find a place where I felt I belonged, and when I first came to Southside I stopped looking. The people not only were welcoming and friendly, but they made me feel like I was a needed part of the body right from the start. I am proud to call Southside my church home. There's a service for anyone depending on how early you want to get up and what style of music you like. There's also a service interpreted into American Sign Language (the 10:30 service). Southside offers many ways to get involved beyond the Sunday services. There are H.O.M.E. Groups, Boy Scouts, children and youth programs, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Helping Hands (people who help seniors with home repairs), and so many more! Most of all, I feel like God has helped me to grow closer to Him through my Southside family. I have learned so much while attending here, and I know God is working through me in the ministries I'm involved in. Family and community are important but if God isn't honored then it's not worth it, and I believe that God is truly being honored at Southside.
