Wow. I am completely speechless. Jerry and his team are by far the most professional folks I have ever come across in our 20 years of home ownership. Not only are they extremely knowledgable in their field, but they step it up and work in a very clean manner. They covered all of the floors where they were walking in and out of the house. They were very cautious to make sure they didn't scratch or damage anything in the house. Once they were finished, I looked over all of their work and I was absolutely amazed. Their workmanship is so clean it looks like a robot did it. All of their custom ductwork looked like a work of art.

All in all we had them install a brand new Trane 16.5 seer, 3.5 ton system along with the related duct work and such. The new system is a world of difference from our 18yr old Trane system. The house gets cool in 1/5 of the time and the humidity levels are much lower.

December 2017 Update: Air Velocity did an excellent job replacing my AC and furnace in August 2016, and Jerry mentioned at that time that my 1985 ducts would need to be replaced soon. They barely had any insulation left and they were wrapped in sheet plastic that was melting. They were basically falling apart. I asked for a quote, and then finally scheduled the repair a year and a half later. Not only did Jerry honor the original price quoted, but they repaired a few places that weren’t included in that quote. Jerry is honest and does superior work for a more than reasonable price. I recommend Air Velocity to everyone I know!

August 2016: I chose Air Velocity to replace my 1993 AC and furnace because of their excellent reviews, and now I'm happy to write my own positive review. The owner answered the phone every single time I called, and explained everything in great detail. This company was much more professional than any other company I've dealt with. Air Velocity also charged me $2,500 less than the "discounted" quotes I received from the vendors sent by my home warranty company. As of today, I am the proud owner of a new Trane unit, and I couldn't be happier. After all, it is August in Texas.

Jerry (owner) came out a few days ago to assess our air conditioning and heating needs. We had a 20 year old unit and did not want to chance a need for replacement during the heat of the summer. Jerry was very knowledgeable and professional. He took time to explain all of our best options and we felt very confident he was the professional we wanted to do the job. We now have a new Air Conditioner, Gas Fired Furnace plus other parts. We were very impressed with the follow thru on all installation promises. Jerry showed up well before the appointed time to start and immediately went to work. His team showed up shortly after Jerry did and they went to work like a well oiled machine. My husband was responsible for a 1,250,000 sq. ft. office complex maintenance and equipment before retirement and he was extremely impressed with the organization and speed with which the whole team performed. They took no time for idle chit chat from the time they arrived until the job was done. The installation was well organized, planned and executed. We couldn't be more pleased.

Great for replacing a home HVAC. All positive reviews on Angies, yp, yelp, and BBB. He actually dropped the price when one part turned out to be unnecessary. Took the time to understand my concerns. Then came up with an idea for second intake duct and the price was a bargain. He’s been doing this work for 38 years. If you prefer a down to earth, highly skilled person who will not talk down to you or pitch you more than you need, then you can’t do better. You will feel like you are his top priority. His price was more than a thousand dollars less than the next lowest bid, and he provided quality work.

Jerry and Robbie did a great job for us. They checked our system thoroughly and discovered that the previous technicians (who looked at our system very quickly and then concluded that we needed to replace a major component) had not identified that the installation was never completed properly. They efficiently figured out why our system has not worked right for over two years within one visit and for a reasonable price. Our previous company had done the initial installation plus been here twice for service calls and never found the problem. We highly recommend Jerry and Robbie at Air Velocity.

Jerry had our a/c up and running again in minutes. Professional, knowledge and a wonderful local businessman to support. Reasonable prices.

When it was time to replace my home heating & ac system, I got several estimates. Jerry with Air Velocity was $1100 lower than everyone else, including another Trane dealer. The system was replaced and running in under 6 hours. It was a clean, professional installation of a very quiet system. We're happy with our decision to go with Air Velocity.

Jerry with Air Velocity is the best I've ever used for HVAC issues. After a miserable Saturday night without A/C, Jerry came over at 10am on a Sunday morning to diagnose. In less than an hour he had us back up and cooling with a part he replaced on-site. He didn't try to sell us on a new system (which is probably coming sooner rather than later) and even showed me some things done wrong by the last guy that worked on my furnace. We unfortunately had to replace one of our a/c systems. Jerry was highly professional and really wants to teach and explain what he is doing. He gave us a Very fair price on our unit. He also corrected an airflow problem to our bedroom. I would highly recommend him. He is honest and will not gouge you like some of his competitors.

My AC unit was not cooling unfortunately it happen on a Sunday. I called several others AC companies either they were not available or was going to charge service charge.

Finally, I called Air Velocity and Jerry the owner answer the phone he came out within 30 minutes.

He fix the problem and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and honest.

Fantastic A/C Company!! My A/C went out on Saturday afternoon (of course) and my seven year old along with our furry St. Bernard were miserable all night. I called several A/C companies first thing SUNDAY morning. Everyone I called (if they answered) told me that it would cost at least $99.00 just to come out and give us an estimate. I called Air Velocity at 8:15 A.M. Sunday morning and 30 minutes later (literally) they pulled up! They replaced the capacitor, then spent 1 1/2 hours taking my unit apart and cleaning all the dog hair out. Two hours after they arrived the A/C was back on and working better than ever! The customer service was Outstanding!

Great company. My condo was built in 1975, duct work replaced, insulation placed in crawl space and two new Trane units installed. The work was professional with turn-key installation (was out of town). Highly recommend this professional group.

We had them install a whole house air cleaner and some new duct work so we could fix hot and cold zones.

We are first time home owners, and our A/C stopped working in our house that we just moved into. We called up our home warranty, and they sent Jerry out. He was very thorough and methodical, and along the way he uncovered a botched install job on our A/C, that unfortunately will cost us quite a bit of money. He was able to fix what he could that afternoon and get us our A/C back, and showed and thoroughly explained to us exactly what was all wrong that still needs to be fixed (but couldn't all be fixed that day because of what a huge mess the other company made). He is still helping us on this process, going above and beyond to help us recoup anything that we can. He really knows his stuff, and is very honest. He did the job, and he did the job great, without taking any sort of shortcuts. I would recommend him to everyone I know. Any future HVAC work I have done will be through him, as I know that he is a honest man and that it will be done right the first time he does it.

I've been a General Contractor for 30 years and I've never seen a cleaner job than the one Air Velocity did for me on a HUD Housing project I had in Granger, Tx. I would feel comfortable recommending this company to anyone needing HVAC work done. They know what they're doing!
