Words cannot express how lucky I am to have both of my children attend The End of the Rainbow. The care, love, and education that my kids receive every single day is amazing. Ms Elsa and Ms Acacia love my babies as if they were their own. My boys love them just as much and love going there every single day. I rest easy going to work because I know they are in such good hands. Both of my boys are learning English/Spanish, follow a great routine, and learn so many things each and every day. I highly recommend The End of the Rainbow to anyone that is looking for a fabulous in-home daycare for their children!!!
I would like to comment on the previous negative review on my business. I recently found out I was out of compliance on the ages of children I was watching in my care and had to correct it. I was unaware that my children were included in the ratio. I had every intention of keeping the previous parent's children but when I was informed I was over ratio on children under 18 months I was forced to make the difficult decision of removing two children enrolled in my daycare. This in no way reflects on the quality of care I provide which I take a lot of pride in. I feel horrible that I made the mistake on my ratio and it was a lesson learned the hard way.
Bad experience with this daycare provider, she took on my child and stated that she would also take of my next child. At the time my daughter was 14 months old and I was pregnant and at the time the daycare provider was only watching one part-time older 3 or 4 y/o child. After about a month or so she took on another child who was just over a year, and then two weeks later she took on two siblings one older around 4 and the sibling was just over a year, that week she told me that she had been waiting on the parent of these two children with a job change. I didn’t think anything of that comment, till about a week later the daycare provider told me she couldn’t take care of my child or the other one year old child anymore and I would need to look for different care, because she just wanted to watch the older child and one younger child she just got because they were easier to deal with and that’s what was best for her business. I was literally appalled that a daycare provider would take on children, leading on fully that they would have permanent care and then pick and choose what children they wanted for the sake of convenience instead of first come, first serve without disclosing fully that care would only be temporarily, she gave full impression that my child and next child could have permanent daycare. This daycare provider has a website stating they would take care of children from 6 mos. and up and never gave any inclination from the beginning that they only wanted older, easy children to take care of. This daycare provider will lie to you for the sake of her convenience for what benefits them and not the benefit of innocent children.
