Brought a king comforter and they said it would cost $27 and would take at least a week to wash. That's insane because everywhere else takes 1 to 2 days to wash and charges $12. So my business went to country cleaners in Layton.
I was literally ripped off here. Took my suit and a bunch of ties to get dry cleaned here, and the kid at the front counter told me to come by tomorrow and it would be ready, something which surprised me, but I figured it would be just fine. Paid $26 for my suit and 7 ties ($3/tie). Came the next day to get my dry cleaning, and couldn't believe how it looked. For one, one of my ties was now all wrinkled and messed up. Second, each hanger of ties had a cute little note that said basically, "We tried to clean these and we could not." The ties did not even smell like they had tried to be cleaned, nor did the suit. Went to the store and complained about the service, and I'll admit, I got pretty upset that they could not even tell me in advance that "hey, we cannot clean your ties." I wanted my money back! The manager told me to leave the store or he was going to call the police. Really?! You are going to threaten me with the police over $26 for a terrible service you know you gave? Never. And I mean it, never go to this dry cleaners. The manager does not give a D about his customers. Best part, get this: went home, and decided to wash my ties. Took about 10 minutes to clean them all, a few hours to dry, and BOOM. Spotless. Why could they not do that too? If you can do it yourself, do it. And if you need to use dry cleaners, DON'T EVER go here.
Never have I met a manager that is so rude. When I see a good rating on Google I believe it to be true. For some reason however, it seems as though this place has slipped underneath the radar and gotten away with FALSE, positive service. Ruined my clothes! Need evidence? Picked up my husbands pants with a nice, new hole in it. Went to the store to complain, and was told that there is no guarantee the clothes will be protected and was refused any sort of help. AWFUL SERVICE. I have learned not to believe every good review you can read on Google anymore.
I have lived in Layton my whole life, and constantly have had the need for dry cleaning. Took my dry cleaning to this store because I saw the good review on Google, and am surprised by the terrible service provided. The price was fantastic, but the quality was HORRIBLE. The manager yelled at me because I was upset by how my comforter was cleaned. The comforter had holes in it after getting dry cleaned! If a manager is going to yell at me because I am a customer looking for good business, I will just take my business somewhere else that is ACTUALLY good. NEVER use this place.
I have done business with Country Cleaners for about 12 to 14 years. It is nearly 10 miles from my home. I drive by many other cleaners to come here. It has been worth the drive. I have no complaints that I can tell you about. Jessie is just about as accommodating as they come, including that he has offered to deliver my clothes to my home if I needed. If you don't use Country Cleaners you are paying more someplace else and you can't beat their schedule for having your order finished within hours of drop off. In by 10 am and out by 5 pm, something like that. Doesn't mean they won't get it wrong sometimes but I can guarantee you they try hard. No I am not related, just a satisfied customer for many years.
The service and quality of their work is the best! I drive 2 hours round trip to have them take care of my dry cleaning and pressing! They are the best!
I have used this dry cleaner for over 4 years. I love their staff, they are always very friendly and even call me by name. I am a very regular dry cleaner and have used other dry cleaners before finding Martinizing in Layton. What impresses me the most is how they run their business. Every business has a problem happen, that's just business. But here, they work with you. They care about their customers. The first time I tried Martinizing, I was shocked how clean it was! This is a dry cleaner, right? But wow! It is kept so clean. Kinda gives you that reassurance that your clothes are getting clean too. What sold me is my white shirts. With every other dry cleaner I have tried, my clothes have a "smell" and my whites are always dingy. Not here. My white shirts come back so white and like new, every time. I am so impressed with this dry cleaner. I rarely review (the only people that give reviews are usually the angry ones, am I right?), but this was worth my 2 thumbs up!
They are always fast and friendly but most of all my clothes come back looking great! Their alterations are really great also!
*Diff Location, Same Owners. After being a loyal customer for the last 6 years, I am disappointed to write this review. I dropped off 2, nice, Banana Republic pencil skirts to be dry cleaned. The employee I dropped them off to was handling my skirt as I left. Upon returning to get my skirts, I was informed that they didn't have my skirts and upon further investigating, "they never received them and didn't have an invoice that they were received" (in 6 years I've NEVER received an invoice and never mind the fact that their employee had the skirt in her hand when I left) After 3 days of waiting for a solution, I was informed that the owners refused to speak to me and they never received my skirts. Basically, I'm out over $200 and my skirts. Worst customer service experience ever. I wouldn't risk taking my clothes to be dry cleaned at either of the Utah locations for fear that this could happen to you and you will be left with no solution. It just took once and you could be next.
I love this company its worth my drive and time.
