My wife and I have been in the market for a GMC Acadia or something similar for a couple of months. We know what options we like and which ones that we need. I called and set up an appointment with Dax in hopes of expediting our experience. We arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and Dax wasn't quite ready for us. However within a few minutes he arrived with a Buick Enclave for us to test drive. He took the time to go and find a vehicle that had everything I told him I wanted. It wasn't the right vehicle for us but the effort was appreciated. He didn't give up that easy though, without being pushy he showed us several other vehicles on the lot. And the one that we really liked didn't have a sunroof. The sunroof is a must for my wife. JD steeped in and offered to put one in it for us. They also replaced a few items that I pointed out. And had a "performance tint" installed on the windows for us. Tyson over in finance was great to work with. He offered us some "add-ons" with out pressuring us and explained in detail what was covered and what wasn't. He even offered to help us dispute a couple of things on our CR.To be honest I was very hesitant to even go to Young and look because of past experiences, BUT, nowI can't wait to buy another vehicle from my buddies over at Young.
Dave Hale @ Young Buick GMC was AWESOME!We recently bought a new Buick Enclave from Dave Hale at Young Buick GMC in Layton and we could not be happier with the entire experience. My wife had been driving her minivan for 17 years, and with both our kids out of the house now, it was time for a new vehicle for her. We came to Youngs because she was interested in Enclave. I consider myself a "major car guy" but was hesitant and dreading the actual car buying process. My fears were quickly pushed aside after just spending a few minutes with Dave. He was relaxed, genuine, knowledgeable and best of us he LISTENED to our needs and wants. He was in no way pushy, but also wasn't afraid to suggest something to us if he felt it was in our best interest. Buying a new car is a major decision and purchase, but Dave made us feel so comfortable. He really and truly was one of the best salespeople I've ever worked with. The dealership as a whole had outstanding customer service. They stand alone in my book in terms of their standards and how they handle their customers. I'm so glad we decided to come Youngs and even more grateful that Dave Hale was our sales person. I recommend Dave and Youngs to ANYONE who wants to experience a different car buying atmosphere. You won't regret it, I promise!
It is my pleasure to write this letter about my experience with the Young GMC Buick dealership. After 20 years of driving a Dodge van it was time we look for another car. After a year of research we had decided on two vehicles. The only thing left to do was now go to the dealership. I will be honest I was not looking forward to the” process of buying a new car”. At Young we were greeted by David Hale and we started the process. THIS YOUNG MAN WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH! David was knowable and honest with us on every level. More important he listed to us and was so helpful in making our final decision. We were at the dealership twice to test drive several vehicles and each time David greeted us but more important he remembered us and our needs. After several hours we decided on a car and EVERYONE at the dealership went out of their way to make sure we satisfied and taken care of. This dealership has OUTSTANDING customer service and really does care about their customers. David Hale is one of the most caring and genuine salesman that we have dealt with in a long time. We highly recommend Young GMC Buick and please ask for David Hale!
I was unfortunate enough to have to replace the windshields on each of my cars. Being young and inexperienced with Auto glass repairs, I asked a family member for a referral. They suggested I go to Precision Auto Glass in Layton after having multiple positive experiences with them. I first requested a quote online, and within a few hours I received an email response with an estimate of replacement. I still had a few questions about the process, so I called. I had the pleasure of speaking to one of the owners, who talked me through the pricing and helped me set up an appointment. He was able to get me in, and have both windshields replaced just a few short hours later. I understand that they also have a mobile service, which was offered, but I was planning on being in the area anyway. What a great service though, for busy schedules. I feel like I was given a great deal, including an online discount just for requesting a quote. I especially appreciate that I wasn't taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge. I will definitely be referring friends and family, and will be back in the future. Thank you guys!!
My husband and I are expecting twins in a few months and realized we needed a van. With a ridiculously tiny budget (which was still about 2-3 times that for our past cars) we've been having a rough time. My husband first spoke to Adam Strong, and we were greeted by Mark (Marcus) Christiansen, who located Adam for us. Adam took us to look, but had several customers already, so handed us off to Mark. After a test drive and some thinking and looking around a little more, we decided to get it. We've never purchased from a dealer before, and we had totally forgotten about things like dealer fees! Mark was awesome. He never made us feel bad, and went back to his manager several times to get us a deal we could manage. He DID. Both Mark and Adam were great to us, and I would definitely recommend either of them to help you find your car!! Overall, I highly recommend the Young Group. THANK YOU SO MUCH to the group as a whole, to Adam for being kind, and to Mark for working hard to help us out!
How this car dealership has an overall rating that isn't a 5 is crazy to me! These guys took care of me through and through. I never felt pressured to buy a car. I never felt like all they were trying to do was make money off of me. Everyone I dealt with made the car buying experience extremely pleasant! I will be buying from Young Chev again. They are the ONLY dealership I've ever walked into I didn't feel like I was getting taken advantage of. I also wasn't greeted right as I was getting out of my car which was a nice change! Any where you buy a car you will pay money for it so for those complaining about fees and all that. Tell me a dealership that doesn't have fees and isn't trying to make a profit and I'll give you a dealership that probably won't be in business for long. I grew up in Layton Young has been around ever since I was a kid. I am happy to exchange my hard earned money with Young Chev for a great car and great service!
This review is long over due and I have been just to busy ENJOYING MY NEW CAR!! I was petrified of possibly getting declined due to my lack of credit and a one income home, middle age - you know the deal. Fortunately I was referred to HESTON YOUNG at the Young Subaru Ogden location by a family member who has worked with him for years. Heston was beyond the best!!! Heston got the type of cars I was interested and even had them lined up for me at a tent sale What is so great about him is he is a no pressure kind of guy, he will tell you like it is and he just wants his customers to be happy I am not one to toot someone's horn unless it is completely justified but I would like to yell it from the mountain tops (which I can actually drive too now LOL) how great Heston and the finance teams were and are to work with!
Wow the service I recieved here was amazing! I hate car dealerships and this truly was a non-car dealership feeling to it. I thought my salesman Jacob Sobers was going to pressure me into buying something and he was so willing to take the time even after hours to find us the right vehicle. And his Manager Brad was right there with him helping us every step of the way making sure we had what we needed. I felt like the king of the palace in this place and even after something happened to my car several days after they made sure they took care of us! I would recommend my Grandma to this place and that's Saying something!!!
Young Chevrolet is a friendly environment to be in, they took care of me and my fiance when we were both in their buying a new vehicle. Jacob and Larkin were constantly on top of things, making sure that I was satisfied with my service, and that the financial part of things will work for you. They got me into a new Cruze that I really love!!!! They have a great selection of cars, and a great variety of banks willing to help you out with getting approved for a vehicle. I had my car serviced a year ago to fix a problem regarding emission testing. It didn't work again this year so I took it back, being told I would at least be paying $100 for the diagnostic. When I came back to get my car they said there was not actually a problem. I assumed I would still be paying the $100 but they dropped that and gave me an emissions test right then for even less than jiffy lube had charged me. It was a great experience. They have amazing customer service and were very honest.
