We used them for remodeling and they did a very good job. They will shore up the damage and then the rest seems to take time lots of it, but in the end good work. Lots of time.

Overall
Fast but poor workmanship!

Dutil's Home Repair came to my home to repair my enclosed front patio in Aug 2007 after several weeks of constant rain flooded it, causing mildew and wood rot. They were quick to come out and give me and estimate, and were fairly quick with the work. However, over the years, I've realized how poor their craftsmanship and quality of materials were. They didn't use pressure treated wood on the exterior of the patio - which, over time, has caused the wood to re-rot, they didn't use any caulk between the wood/windows or wood/foundation, they didn't use any sealant of any sort, they didn't use exterior paint on the outside (it began peeling within a few months), and didn't put my storm door on correctly after taking it off to repair the wood around it. The following Spring, the wind ripped the door and part of the frame off of the house completely. That's probably because they used sheetrock screws to put the door on the frame - and by frame, I mean fabricated chunks of wood barely held together by short sheetrock screws. I wish I had known enough then to know how poor their work was, but I was a new homeowner and was naive. I've called them at least once every few months to try to talk to someone about their work, with no luck. I can never get a return call. The only positive thing I have to say about their work is that they at least got rid of the mildew. Just wanted others to know!
