Great authentic food in the Brookwood district! Love the family atmosphere and concern for customers! Carne asada tacos are the best!
To say I'm pissed is an understatement... my husband and I have been eating at Kampai in Snellville for the last 8 years and we spend no less than $100 each time! We've been extremely loyal customers even though the prices went up and quality of food went down. Tonight we brought food home and I find a dead fly in my salad. We call and the "manager" tells us she will credit our salad. Credit our salad? Lady we are not eating any of this food. She's gonna tell me we need to bring the food back so she can look at it. I'm not bringing it back... I'm trashing all of it and will never ever be back. I'm going to ensure you and the internet see how nasty you guys are! Take a look at this nastiness! DO NOT EACH AT KAMPAI IN SNELLVILLE
They are the friendliest, best customer service donut shop ever. They have the freshest donuts, made to order. Great unusual donut menu. Best around. I love the drive up window option, they always tell you how long it will be until your order will be ready. It is usually about three minutes. I can't wait to try their lunch menu. ~ Sherry D Lawrenceville, GA
I love to create my own veggie white sauce pizza. They even offer whole wheat pizza dough. I like the individual size option.
My experience with donut places are lengthy. From sublime to revolution donuts, I have tried it all and one thing rings true. Donut worry are hands down the best so far!!!!! One thing that I love about their donuts is that it is not as sweet as some other places and their dough is oh so tender. What I mean by tender is that when you bite into the donut it is SO soft and airy. I ate 3 donuts like it was nothing because they were all so supple and soft. I definitely recommend the blueberry cake, cronut, and a glazed long john filled with Bavarian cream. They also sell breakfast burritos and sandwiches that look pretty good, but I did not get to try. It's a great option that they also sell some breakfast and if it's anything like their donuts then I am pretty sure they would be fantastic as well. All in all, everything was delicious and if it was not so far from my house I would probably be their everyday. Delicious and definitely surprised me! Keep up the good work guys!!
Rude Staff, Outdated ambianceI went to Oyster Bay in Lawrenceville with 3 of my colleagues during the lunch time. It was close to where we were & convenient.A waitress by the name of Felisha came to our table & we told her that we have to be in a meeting in about an hour & if it is possible to get our food quick in 15 minutes. She said that they are not too busy & that shouldn't be a problem. We ordered our food and waited for 20 min. We called her and asked if she can check on our food. She very rudely, said "as soon as it comes out, I bring it to you, you are not the only one in the restaurant".I was bothered by her reply, but let it go since we just wanted get our food & catch our meeting.Another 15 minutes went by and now we have been waiting for 35 minutes. We called her again and told her that we really need to go, if she can ask the kitchen to speed things up. At this point she seemed very agitated, she responded: "if you want to give me that attitude you better leave now".I was stunned & in disbelief by the rudeness of the waitress. I went to talk to the manger, but that was even worst. The manger was indifference & seemed did not want to be bothered. He did not say anything or even not offered an apology. It appeared to me that we are dealing with a waitress who absolutely hates her job & doesn't want to be there. A manager who lacks professionalism and customer service & just doesn't care. At this point we just cancelled out our order and left. These are definitely the people that they should not be in hospitality business since either they don't know what it is or they are just there to get a paycheck. As far as the ambiance, not typical place I prefer. It is dark inside with a very old & out dated pub type atmosphere. For the food, I wouldn't be able to comment on it since I did not eat there. But the attitude of the staff was bad enough to lose my appetite any way.
Have visit several times in the past months and love it. I have order dinner and lunch from this location and the food was delicious. The sushi is the best in the area. It is a most try restaurant.
I took my family to Off The Hook for lunch today. We live close by and have wanted to try it out since the sign went up. We were not disappointed. I had the shrimp poboy tossed in creole seasoning and it is the best poboy I've had since Huey's in Atlanta closed. My husband had the fish combo and a shrimp taco, which disappeared before I could try them. Will definitely eat there again.
