This store would have gotten zero stars but I had to insert one star to write this review. I ordered two recliners and a table that was sale priced. The table was supposed to be delivered to the Lawrenceville store from another store and the chairs would be ordered and ready in 5-6 weeks. They were supposed to call me when the table was ready for pick-up. This has to be the worst customer service/managerial response that I have ever received. After waiting 2-3 weeks for their call, I called the order pick-up department and got a recorded message saying their line was busy and that they would call me back in 24 hours. (Why would it take 24 hours? Do they consider themselves more important than a doctor?) When they finally called back, they referred me to the store sales personnel. I was informed that the table was at the warehouse another 20 miles away and that I would need to pick it up there, after they had assured me that I could pick it up in Lawrenceville and I had already paid for it. When I asked to talk to a manager, he assured me that he would get the table delivered to Lawrenceville as soon as possible and assured me that he would call me back immediately. After two weeks, I was still waiting for that call from the manager when I called the store and they said that it was in. When my husband went to the store to pick up the table, the same manager could not find the table. He delegated the problem to the sales staff who offered to sell us other tables for more, or tables that did not match the style or color that we had picked out. We finally managed to at least get our money back, but we are not satisfied. We bought a table with a built in charging station for electronics and we bought it on sale, but we were not compensated in any way except for a return of our purchase price. We expected more from the store manager. We are supposed to pick up our two chairs tomorrow from Lawrenceville, but who knows????????

Brand new store in Lawrenceville on Scenic Highway and you would expect quality furniture, correct? That is not the case with my recent experience. We purchased a recliner on the grand opening day, went to satellite blvd. and picked it up the same day, and within days realized it was not operating correctly. When we turned the chair over, we found there are 2 metal brackets that operate the recliner NOT ATTACHED. There are holes where bolts clearly should be but the brackets are just hanging and don't attached. I called the store and the service department and was advised that because we picked up the chair and didn't have it delivered for an additional charge of $70-90, we would have to load the chair up and take it back to the satellite blvd. service department or pay $70-90 service call to our home. The store manager and the service department manager both sang the same tune. My complaint: For a brand new chair that was not assembled properly and clearly was not inspected either at production or at the service pick up dept on satellite blvd. not what LAZY BOY claims as quality merchandise. I have no recourse, either pay more to have service call or get someone to load up the chair (my husband had a recent heart procedure) and drive it back to satellite blvd. Don't shop LAZY BOY if you want quality merchandise and a store manager that will correct the issue at hand. We are the only ones inconvenienced. We will never shop there again!!!
