BUYER BEWARE!!! Classic story of bait & switch. My wife was *SO* excited to finally find the car she'd been looking at an agreed upon price we could afford. Got insurance for the new vehicle, gave them our down payment, and then -- surprise!! Oops, they "forgot some fees" (such as my favorite, the $599 "Administration Fee"). After hours of work, no deal. Sales person was "Carolina". Shame on you guys...
When getting a service from these snakes get your quote in writing. My truck cost me $600 then the orginal quote. To top it all off one day after the repairs were done on my vehicle the same problems I paid them to repair was not. I called back a few times to speak to Michelle but, she's not returning my calls. Don't be fooled by the nice waiting area ( credit the one star) its being paid for by the unethical practices. I will never recommend or encourage anyone to patronize this dealership. This may be my first and last Chevy purchase. I will drive a little further to deal with people I can trust instead of Nash Chevolet.
This man is the most honest car dealer AND MECHANIC around! He's done work on several vehicles for my wife and I and goes WAAAAAY out of his way to serve his customers over and beyond expectations as he uphold integrity above profit. Do YOURSELF a favor and go straight to Ron for ANY of your car needs first.
Had a deal worked out with Dion, in writing and credit approved. Then we were told the day of, the manager couldn't do the deal that the salesperson gave us. He was looking at the numbers and was going to call right back. It has been 4 days and we have heard nothing. We were not trading. They were going to get us there to switch it all. DO NOT recommend.
We purchased a used VW Jetta Turbo 04 from Amir at IMS Auto Sales on June 29, 2014. He is a big talker -- smooth salesperson. The engine light came on a few days after we bought it. We were quoted $7,000 for a transmission. We are out a lot of money. He does not respond to phone calls. He had us sign an "As Is" Disclaimer. Run....don't walk....save yourself some money and a lot of headache!
Ron is the most patient, honest, kind, knowledgeable, selfless used car salesman/broker I've ever met! Ever. I'll always send family and friends to him. He's in this business because he truly cares and wants to keep his customers safe and happy.Here's how I became fortunate enough to meet Ron and do business with him... My mechanic friend told me about his honest car dealer friend before I needed a car. When my car engine blew a few months later it only made sense to purchase a different car rather than paying for a new engine that would cost more than the car was worth. After having had bad experiences with the same make/model twice with 2 different cars I was very cautious about what my purchase would be. This would be my first financed car, so I wanted to be 100% sure of my decision. The first time I called Ron he was very open, listened carefully to everything that I was looking for, then suggested that I 1-read the reviews online written about him so that I knew who I was doing business with & 2-come meet with him so that he could show me & explain the entire brokering process. I live about 3 hours from him in NC, but my family still lives in GA. I made a weekend trip and was even more impressed after meeting him and learning more about him through reading articles about him in his office. He's very active in many chairities. It was an honor just to be in his presence. Ron always respected my wishes and clearly wanted me to be safe and completely happy with my purchase. He dealth with my indecisiveness for almost a month, always being very helpful, patient, available and honest. I researched and test drove many cars over the span of 5 weeks before Ron had me in the perfect car for my son and me...know that it was 5 weeks only because of my indecisiveness. I had many experiences with used car salesmen during this time that were very disappointing and the polar opposie of Ron's honest, non-pushy business approach. From the day that Ron found the '11 Honda CR-V with all the bells and whistles down to the exact color scheme that I wanted I was driving it back to NC in 5 days!...That included a weekend and shipping the car. Ron's fees were shockingly reasonable, and he moved mountains for me. I wish I'd wasted less time being indecisive, but Ron stuck with me and was always so understanding. My father, whom is very supportive, protective & often apprehensive of car dealers, trusts and respects Ron a great deal and plans to purchase a car from him in the near future. The next time I'm visiting with my family in GA I'll definitely be stopping by just to say "hi" to Ron and show him the big smile that'll still be on my face. Do yourself a huge favor and don't waste time with car sales people who just want to make a sale and don't care enough to really listen...call Ron!
Bought a new car from them and that experience was fine. Came back twice and bought two used cars from them, that experience was also fine. The last car on the other hand, not so fine. The very next day we took it back because the rear AC wasn't working at all, not even blowing. This even though their little "quality inspection checklist" said that it had been checked and was working. Its been back 3 times for the AC, they continue to do us a huge favor and work on it at no charge, but it doesn't matter, because the actual problem has never been fixed. We will be taking that elsewhere to be repaired on our dime. Started having engine trouble very shortly after purchasing it as well, but it occurred at random and of course, never did it when they were looking at it. Finally, it left my wife stranded in a gas station parking lot across town. Had it towed back to NASH and they "fixed it" and only charged us "half of what it cost", which I'm not sure is even legit, over $600 for a fuel injector?? Picked it up and didn't make the 6 mile trip home before it was misfiring again. They picked it up and "fixed" it again. Now it runs, but smells like unburned fuel from the exhaust and gets 8-10 mpg. We informed them of this and they claim to have test driven it 100 miles, filled it up and calculated that it was getting 20 mpg. They gave us two options, trade it in and buy ANOTHER car from them or take our car and kick rocks. That was their solution, trade in the car for thousands less than we paid for it 5 months prior.(they offered less on the trade in because of the issues the car had since the day we bought it!) When I pointed out that I could go anywhere to trade it in and buy another car, so that provided no customer service or good faith on their part, they suggested that's what I do. Now I calculate mileage at every fill up and it's consistently less than 10mpg. A friend hooked up his diagnostic computer and it showed that codes had been cleared shortly before we bought it.I understand that it was a used car, but being the "family owned business" that they claim to be, you'd think you might get some good old fashioned customer service, but that is not the case here. I bought from them because I had bought my new car there and I felt confident that I would be getting better customer service than say buying a used car from someone on craigslist. Especially having bought three cars from them in three years, but I was sorely mistaken. I messed up, I trusted them. I won't make that mistake again. My next new truck will not be from NASH. They are reinforcing the car salesman stereotype.
Only go here intriguing full well you will be laughing them roughly 30% profit. Every big manager is a joke. I had to get a yelp trash the tikes BC the girl us never there. The body dip was not helpful st all and I took my car to be serviced else where.It took a month for them to call he in for my regulate. Then they tips newer I tortuously free about to get my car fixed. They said something major wrong with the engine and I knew it want. Tiff them what id was. But sure to my cars she, I was told to go purvhase a new vehicle.Worst dealership in my life. Especially from one claiming to be southern style family
