The attendant was rude and used inappropriate language when speaking to me. He told me he was cursing at the the person he was speaking to on his bluetooth. Regardless, his language and behavior were inappropriate and extremely unprofessional. I ended up leaving and not giving my business to this establishment. I will not be returning to this location for an emissions inspection.
I left and went to a professional establishment with workers who acted like they were grateful for my business.
We have used Gunter Automotive for several years now on our company trucks as well as our personal vehicles. The work has always been good. When the shop was located on Lyle Circle the prices were very fair and customer service was extremely good. Since the move to John Connor Ct prices seem to have gotten excessive. I can run their part numbers on the Napa website to see what the retail cost is knowing they purchase them much cheaper from Napa, being they are a Napa dealer. I have found they inflate the prices to as much as 80% above retail cost. For example..ie Front wheel bearing hubs for my 2008 Chevy 2500HD were charged at nearly 700.00 for each side (part only) when the same exact part number at the Napa store was only 414.00. Then I was charged labor and shop fees on top of that. I feel I was taken to the cleaners after having spent 10's of thousands of dollars with them over the last few years. Customer service has gotten very rude. I guess the new place changed attitudes.
This place has the best price and service in Lawrenceville,12.99,my car failed the state emission teste, i got a new battery right before my test,so my car failed for Readiness, i was upset over nothing, Ray the inspector took his time to explain a car drive cycle. After a few days of driving my car i took it back for my free retest and it pass.���� Thank ScenicEmission for the service and price. Now tell everyone about your business ����
Wow! i went here today to get my emission test, I stepped out the car and walked up to a man who I believe is the owner, I'm a very shy person so I don't speak very loudly I understand if he didn't hear me correctly but that is no exception, I have brought a few cars here before! And there was never a problem, Once I failed twice and they just went ahead and gave me a paper that said what I needed to go ahead and pass I have always went and fixed the car and done everything the right way. So I walked up the man and i told him "Hey I really think this car will not pass emission is there anyway you can check and precaution me or tell me a list in what I will need to fix in order to pass". He told me with a smile on his face nicely, Get out of here, so I replied with a smile and thought he was joking so I stood there waiting and thought he was going to help me, than he says get the fu*k out of here very loud, and I told him wait you missed understood what I said let me.. get the fu*k out of my fu*k bussiness im calling the cops now i dont care get out now, I was extremely scared, I walked backwards turned around and saw 2 young guys I tried to call them over but they said Hey whats going on, the two young men before have helped me with my last cars, and so has the owner which was the man who was cursing me out, the guys ask the older man hey but whats going on here then, the owner then yells HE is asking to pass the emission test ILLEGALLY, I then yelled NO STOP you miss understood let me explain, one of the young guys then drops everything and charges at me he has a bread, black hair dark brown eyes about 5'9" and I'm only 5'6', I yelled wait stop OK, not once did they not let me explain. This is not how a Business should treat there customers, And I have never experienced anything like it in my life, especially coming from ny where a lot of people are rude at times, yet that is no exception. I just hope Know one else has to go through this or gets treated like this.

I live in Augusta Ga. and was looking for someone to inspect a car I was considering to purchase. I found Gunter Automotive on the web and liked their sit, so I called. Michele aswered the phone and was more than helpful and scheduled as appointment for me. The mechanic that inspected the car was great and very detailed in his search for any problems. I had a chance to meet the owner and had a great time talking with him. Overall my experience was more than I expected. I would recommend them to everyone. -Chris C
