I recently visited the Regal Nail Salon in Wal-Mart. I was a loyal customer and needed a pedi and gel. I asked the manager (Bavid) who was doing my service to give me a coffin shaped nail. He attempted to do so but the nails were only square. When I made a suggestion that the nails were just plain square the manager then told me that I should've said more narrow nail and he would've just did that. The manager argued with me that it was coffin shape. He then began to shape my nails aggressively causing my finger to bleed. I told him that he was hurting my finger and he then apologized WHEN he saw blood. I told him that I have been a loyal customer there and I have never been treated this way. This was the manager that gave me this service and his attitude was cocky, rude and arrogant. I will never spend my money there again.
I have been to Regal Nails 4 times, and have always been pleased with the results. This last time I went, I needed a refill and polish change. After much debating on which color to go with, I picked a light coral gel color. As the color was being applied, I noticed that it didn't look quite like it did on the color swatch. I brought it up to the technician, but she said it just looks darker on the plastic. After I left the salon, I noticed the polish started changing color!!! Ok, no problem, I'll just get them to fix it right? WRONG. I called the salon and told them the issue. They informed me that I CHOSE the mood-changing polish and that it's pretty much my fault. I had no idea mood-changing polish existed!!! They didn't offer to fix it whatsoever. That will be my LAST trip to Regal Nail Salon ever. Not only is their customer service lousy, but the lack of the professionalism with the technicians is unnerving--constant joking with each other and snark toward customers.
Came in for a pedicure and received not only a thorough job, but hot stone treatment and shoulder massage while waiting for toes to dry. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Laurel.
