Unethical, Price Gougers and take advantage of the uneducated consumer - Spoke with manager Mike at Lake Electronics and advised him that the part he was quoting as a $577 repair quote is only worth $160 for a power supply. My wife was scheduled this only because it was recommended by Samsung. She was home alone at home when the repair technician came and quoted us an insanely expensive part and labor costs. They would not let us speak with the person that provided the price quote over the phone, said she had to pay the $150 for the visit and speak with someone after the fact. She paid, and what we got was a 5 minute visit, extremely rude customer service interaction and now I will have to make the repair myself. Even me making the repair myself, I will save over $250. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO REPAIR ANY TV, APPLIANCE OR OTHER TYPE OF UNIT.
Worst repair service! This company was recommended by Haier as their repair service. My Haier washer needed a simple electronic control panel replacement. When the first technician came he changed electronic panel BUT broke the top of washer. When I asked them to come again and replace the top second technician came. He spent more than 3 hours to replace top of Washer and broke my unfortunate Washer completely. It stops to wash at all and clips which hold washer lid were broken too. I was in shock. I had to invite other repair company to reanimate my Washer. This is terrible company. Technicians doesn't have hands at all. They really don't understand what they do. If you don't want to lose your appliances at all beware of their services.
Stay as far away as you can from this garbage company. Extremely rude and apparently uneducated customer service reps that they appeared to have hired of a street corner. Tried to setup an appointment with them for about a week. Samsung kept saying they will give me a call with in 48 hrs and never did, Finally when appointment was set for the morning they called and said they would be there sometime in the afternoon. Then they told me to they had opennings and when further plans were made they said they had no opennings. The only reason I called is because Samsung said they were the only service people in Dade and Broward county. I am very easy going and for me to waste my time writing negative reviews take alot. Trust me do not call or leave any electronics with these idiots you will regret it . Anyone here writing a postive review have to be working for them.

YES! Two people showed up the same day I called , found the problem and fixed it right there and mounted our 52" Samsung flat screen back on the wall. I then showed our "broken" reciever that contolls our entire home theater system to them and they fixed that too. Apparantly some kind of loose connection. No additional charge.
Can one actually thrive on honesty? I do, and so do lakes electronics. Plus you sleep better.
I had some problems with my Sony Projection TV, had some blue lines bothering me on the screen and once in a while the screen would turn completely blue. I was not in the mood to spend a lot of money on a tv older than 5 years. I was under the impression that a bulp needed to be replaced ($300 - $500).
We called around to have someone check out our little problem. Lakes Electronics was the cheapest and as they turned on the tv they knew right away the problem. They not only fixed it, but showed us how to take care of it ourselves when it happens again.
