My first thought when I pulled into the parking lot, the building was its old, but don't ever judge a book by its cover. Once my wife and I walked in it was a typical Asian restaurant. The people that work in there are actually Korean not like other places that claim to be Japanese or korean and then have chinese people working there. We sat down didn't know what we wanted I ask the lady which work there she was very happy to help us choose. there food was great and very authentic I ate exactly the same food when I was in Korea. The people there are very polite and very happy to serve you. My wife and I limped out of there cause how full we were and only spent $45. :)

Truly as good as it gets for Korean in S. Florida and perhaps for the US. This is authentic Korean cuisine and everything is prepared on site. They make their own kim chi, dumpling wrappers, etc. If you can get a Charcoal Grill table, you get to cook on wood charcoal that adds wonderful flavor to the meat and shrimp. I've never seen this in the US before. It is AMAZING! I ate there Saturday night for the first time in a year and if anything, it is even better than before. Here are some more detailed comments:
Korean Pancake - I tried the kim chi pancake this time - sort of a crispy crepe with kim chi mixed in and a slightly spice sauce for dipping. Delicious.
Steamed Pork Dumplings - I expect this to be the more average option compared to the fried dumplings, but they were tender and full of flavor. The relatively thin wrapper is delicate and perfectly in balance with the filling. And I believe you get 10 dumplings per order!
Fried Dumplings - the crispy, pan fried version of the above. Also delicious.
Bulgogi - if you eat at the charcoal table they cook this for you in the kitchen and bring it out prepared. Delicious. Of course, I've never had bad bulgogi, so I'm biased. Great flavor.
Marinated Boneless Short Ribs BBQ - this meat is my favorite for cooking over the coals. Tremendous flavor, tender, perfect.
Marinated Chicken, Pork, Shrimp BBQ - all great, all delicious.
Side dishes - along with the BBQ meat entree you get about a dozen small plates of side items - lettuce to make lettuce wraps, rice, kim chi, seaweed, tofu, garlic (in a little metal container so you can cook it over the fire), jalapenos, etc. All part of the traditional style of a Korean meal.
I didn't order any of the 'more challenging' dishes, but they have a number of items that will be a little bizarre for westerners, but authentic and welcomed by many Koreans.
Fred and his wife Susan, the owners, are incredibly helpful. They will offer suggestions, answer all questions and generally make you feel like a member of the family.
This restaurant is not to be missed by adventurous diners. I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

Great food traditional BBQ cooked in front of you and includes all the little side dishes. Cute restaurant and good for small parties. Wouldn't recommend a party with small children because of the hot grills. Great for dates and family gatherings.
Wonderful and kind service.
There is a Korean grocery store on the opposite side of the street just a little south of Gabose. Well worth the trip to get your favorite Korean cuisine and shop for all the asain goodies after.
