the woman who filed me last year keisha andrew use to work or own this tax office in hollywood tax specialists. last year was a bad experience because the police raided the office in hollywood and it was an issue getting my check and also had an issue because they over billed me to file my w2. i got a call from this new office and the girl said this was her new office and supposedly she was not involved with the old office anymore and that this was different and it would be a better experience and more professional. i told the girl on the phone about what happen last year and she said thats why the woman opened up a new office and that everything was better. i decided to give miss andrew another try and believed when the girl told me she had nothing to do with over charging people and the police raiding the place was a mistake. very long story short, it was the same crap! my appointment to see miss andrew was at 2 and i waited for 3 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had to fill out and sign so many damn pages and forms that the front desk guy could not even explain to me exactly what they were! he said one thing but the consent contract said something else (they must have thought i could not read or something). they said it was mandatory cause its irs guidelines but i asked someone at Jackson Hewitt and they said there is no such thing. when it was my turn to finally go into the office, they tried to place me with someone else when i specifically set my appointment and asked to see miss andrew since that is the one who i dealt with last year. i had to wait longer to see her and when i did, she was able to get me back a lot, she told me what i was getting back but never told me what she was charging me! when i asked her she at the end she said $350, i was shocked cause all i had was a w2 and my daughter i was claiming. i felt that was way to much since you can file online or at h&r blcok for like 40 bucks. i was suppose to get my money in 2 weeks, it took almost a month!! and then when i got my refund, i realized money was missing. when i called the girl on the phone told me i was charged $500 damn dollars! i told her keisha said $350 and thats what i signed for. they were suppose to call me back and i never received or heard from that tax preparer again! i just had to cut it as a loss and learn to never go there again after my first experience. i should have known it was probably some bs and drama, cause i have never known of a tax place to have an armed security guard w/ a gun, video cameras and so many papers to sign that you thought you were signing a booklet! NEVER AGAIN! another thing was when i got a chance to look at my tax return form that they gave me a copy of, the tax preparer said another name and not the person i saw! i know i saw keisha andrew cause i dealt with her last year but the papers signed said Ruth. I do not know what is going on in that place but i know to stay away next tax season! they can keep that extra $150 they illegally over billed me from my refund cause they probably need it more since i'm sure they are probably going to pick up and leave after a short time and wont be able to find them again. i hate businesses that are unprofessional like this and don't keep their word! that place is sketchy as hell! be careful ya'll
