I have eaten at your location several times in the past but tonight was a different experience....please read the below.....
1. The sea bass was served undercooked and raw. After sending back for more fire it did not taste fresh and was mealy/stringy and had a aftertaste...2. The snapper was good. No aftertaste. Decent portion. Side portions were a bit strange tasting and they give you a huge clump of mash potatos underneath the fish but all and all this was a decent choice. Even through we live on the water here it is still difficult to find fresh fish well prepared in a restaurant. Not cheap at $35.00 per pop...
c Even through we live on the water here it is still difficult to find fresh fish well prepared in a restaurant. Not cheap at $35.00 per pop.
3. The bibb salad was mediocre with the large pieces of lettuce uncut and all of the extras were soaked on the bottom of the strange shape salad bowl. At $12.00 for this salad it is overpriced and not worth it. In fact all of the salads are overpriced on the menu and not worth picking any of them. How do they have the nerve to charge 12.00 for 8 pieces of lettuce ?
4. The tuna bruscetta appetizer was small pieces and portions of minced tuna on 3 crackers. Non-descript flavor and overpriced again.
4. The cosmopolitan martini was a looser and not prepared well at all.
5. Key lime pie should be taken off the menu. A joke with no lime flavor. No flavor at all. and a massive ripoff at $12.00. I was born in South Florida and have lived here for 50years and the key lime pie was a disgrace. All of the desserts are grossly overpriced at $12-13 ea.....and that was the dealbreaker for me...i will not give this place another chance again. ever. stay away. there are better quality seafood places in town especially in the summer with the dirty plastic panels in your face overlooking the intercoastal bridge. Hasta la vista baby....a big overpriced ripoff of a dinner.

I checked their website regarding Sunday brunch and wanted to bring my mother there for mother's day. Their website said ""Join us for Sunday Brunch, $29.95 per person including a complimentary bloody mary or mimosa"" ""Please consider joining us on Sunday May 9th for mothers day!"" That's all it said. I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance and confirmed the prices with the hostess I spoke with. So we sit down for brunch this morning and order our ""complimentary"" bloody marys and mimosas..and the waiter simply says ""oh they aren't complimentary today"" and walks away fast before we can change our minds or ask for an explanation. The crab cakes and oysters were very good but there was no omelette station as advertised. The staff clearly had no desire to be at work today and pushed and shoved around all the customers in the buffett lines. A lot of dishes I pulled the lids off of were empty and not efficiently being refilled and there were very poor attitudes at the meat carving station with fatty tough pieces being handed out. Also, scrambled eggs were the only breakfast type item on display. The biggest surprise was when we got our bill, it was 105$ for 3 people to have brunch, the drinks were an extra $35, and they had already included a 20% tip when it was a buffett meal and we saw our waiter maybe 3 times. It was advertised as $29.95 a person, they charged a lot more than that and charged for bloody mary's on top of it.. the only explanation we got was that it ""costs more on holidays"" . We would have spoken with a manager but the staff was running around like crazy and we couldnt' even find someone to speak with. We feel very very cheated and would hesitate to return even though the food was very good, but we just feel like they got away with something and it was way overpriced for the selection and service.

There was a 10 minute wait for valet, then 45 minute wait with a reservation, the food was disappointing the halibut dish which was suppossed to include mushrooms did not, the proscuitto and brie appetizer was mostly cheese; and to top it off my girlfriend got sick. NOT RECOMMENDED- HIGHLY OVERPRICED!!Take your money elsewhere.

The best thing about this restaurant was the waiter, Perry. I would definitely recommend asking for him. The worst thing was the hostess we dealt with. She wasn't the brightest and seemed to be very confused. We made reservations ahead of time yet we still had to wait almost 40 minutes to be seated. The food is good but not GREAT. I've had better. The outside seating atmosphere is very nice but also very crowded. They have the tables pushed so close together that it's even hard for the waiters to get by.
I would rather recommend EMERIL'S on South Beach, you won't be disappointed !!!
Love it --- Love it ---Love it!
If you like good Gourmet Food you must come here! I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 times this year 2008! Love everything, its appealing, its sexy and right on the intracoastal.
Go there for brunch also on Sundays!!--- make sure you are hungry--food is extraordinary--from scrambled eggs to oyster on a shell--top that with a Mimosa or a Bloody Mary and Im sure all your sins will be forgiven that Sunday.
To the owners: a complimentary brunch will be greatly appreciated.

First of all, they make you wait until ALL members of your party arrive before they seat you - my husband says they do this to make more money on bar drinks.
Then we waited a long time, about 40 minutes for the food, with only baskets of bread (and roasted garlic), and some of the bread had half cooked parts.
I had the ""Lump Crab and Corn Roasted Grouper with Asparagas Risotto and Red Wine butter"". Well, the best thing about it was the Red Wine butter! There was nary a lump of crab to be seen or tasted, maybe a few strands of it, in a very bland glop on top of the grouper with a few kernals of corn. The grouper was also very bland and could have used a bit more butter sauce to give it taste. The risotto was awful! Gloppy and tasteless! Bland on bland!
On the other hand my husband's sea bass was very good, but as with all the dishes served to our party, the portions were pretty small, especially when you consider the average entree price was $30! Everyone inhaled their food in about 5-10 minutes!
I took my baby into the ladies room to change her, but there was NOWHERE to do so!

Firstly, prepare to valet park unless you want to feed a meter. The stuffed baby cow (Prosciutto Stuffed Veal Tenderloin with red onion jam and smoked gouda griddle cakes} was absolutely fabulous. My apologies to any PETA people out there, but I highly recommend it. To truly describe the meal I?d have to curse so I?ll just say it was pretty gosh darn tasty. We started with the Prosciutto and Sun dried Tomato Wrapped Brie, toasted walnuts and green apple relish with Jamaican rum butter and I wanted to eat about 10 more of these little puff pastry stuffed miracles of heart disease. My mom had the Herb Crusted New Zealand *ack of Lamb and Soft Polenta with grilled vegetables and port wine demi and wanted more because it was so good. Christina (my much better half) had the Sauteed Yellowtail Snapper and Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes, pan seared asparagus, artichoke hearts and kalamata olive salad. She raved about the fish and the potatoes were awesome-she was kind enough to share with me. I won?t bore you with what my Stepdad and his friend had, but they were quite happy with their choices as well. The worst part of the meal? The check of course. Poor rich step dad (snicker). It?s easy to say that it?s worth the money. We had a large table with ample room outside on the intracoastal and except for when Mark (our waiter) forgot my Mom?s iced tea (he comp?d it), he was right on top of everything without the whole, ?How is everything?? every 10 minutes. The only negative I could possibly bother whining about is that is was a bit loud where we were sitting but only because the table next to us was a party of 5 rather loud talkers and they were in the corner so the noise was bouncing right back at us. But I would highly recommend this place even if you had to stand and eat with loud country music blaring out of loudspeakers 6 inches from your ears because the food is so good.
