I got a DnD calendar with various coupons attached (one for $1 off a Breakfast Sandwich). I went to use said coupon and was told I had to buy a $1.69 coffee to use the coupon (Nowhere on the coupon did it say that any purchase was necessary).



Basically, I was told that I had to give them an additional $1.69 to use the $1 off coupon. I didn't want a coffee. WHAT KIND OF COUPON IS THAT? WHERE ONE HAS TO SPEND EXTRA $.69 TO USE IT? Aren't coupons supposed to attract a customer by giving a discount?



It wasn't the $1.69 I had to spend for a $2.99 Microwaved sandwich... It was the principle... And the fact that they couldn't comprehend the stupidity of their actions.



I would have been better off NOT using a coupon at all.



Phillip behind the counter just couldn't understand the situation and insisted I buy the $1.69 coffee so I could then get $1 off the sandwich.



Maybe next time I should just give them an extra $10 so I can get 3 extra donuts instead of paying $1 ($3 total) for each donut...



OH! There wont be a next time! LOL IDIOTS!
