Trailers Repair Service in Las Vegas, NV

This business in unprofessional, disorganized, and incompetent. Be warned, stay away!Double Eagle miss-diagnosed a lack of engine power problem after telling me they were fully qualified to troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar engines. I was charged $2,500.00 for engine work that did not solve the problem. When confronted with the information that the work had not solved the problem, the business owner became verbally abusive toward me, and blamed the problem with the repair on my wife’s bad attitude, and generally behaved in a very unprofessional manner. Subsequently, another shop solved the problem by replacing a clogged air filter. This was a very simple problem that Double Eagle should have found, and would have found if proper troubleshooting procedure had been followed. Their troubleshooting method is limited to a test drive and guessing at a problem. The engine ECM was never checked for trouble codes, and the mechanics lack of understanding of engine operation and incompetence resulted in the incorrect diagnosis of the problem.The day the repair was scheduled, the mechanic performing the repair was absent half the day for a scheduled doctor’s appointment, so the work had to be rescheduled for another day. No explanation from Double Eagle on the cause of the delay, and because my RV was blocked on the lot by other RVs I still could not leave so the entire day was wasted. After work did start, a tool that should have been on hand had to be ordered, resulting in further delay. While I was waiting I did get to observe the other mechanics wandering aimlessly around the lot, searching for tools and parts, swearing at each other, badmouthing the owner, and generally doing very little work.

Claimed to have made repairs we never agreed on, and I cant believe were necessary. Some repairs incorrectly done, and had to be re-done elsewhere. Very expensive, and poor quality. Think I got scammed.

STAY AWAY!!! This place is a nightmare. Our company had a trailer break down (wheel bearing). We called and verrified services offered and method of payments accepted. We then ok'd with the owner who's name is Ami, our method of payment (CC). We had our trailer towed there and paid the towing company by CC. They said they would start repairing the trailer at 7am but they didn't show up until 8:45. They started making repairs to the other wheels that did not need repairs and then charged us for them. We then stopped them from making any further repairs. Then their attitudes changed and they kicked out our driver and made him wait off the premesis. They then locked the gates behind him. All of the sudden they would not accept a CC as payment, it HAD to be CASH. We were billed an outrageous amount for a service call and one hour of labor. After all this, they threw our axel out on the street and finaly let another towing company in to help us get our trailer out of their lot. We will NEVER do business here again!
