This restaurant, newly taken over by the Marriott, is a great spot for locals. I'm sure as word gets out, it's gonna be a local's fav. hot spot. There is an out door koi pond & window seats w/ views of waterfalls and ponds....it's absolutely beautiful! The menu's new too. I love their concept of social dining, lots of appetizer portioned dishes they call, 'Sharing Plates'. The rock shrimp crunch was a big hit at our table( citrus sweet n spicy). I loved the seafood ceviche too(very fresh tasting). They host a small selection of french/Japanese entres as well. The miriad of flavors in the surf n turf from the dining side(they also have a surf n turf in their Teppan Yaki menu) was exquisit! Our wine marinated Filet' Mignon and the Miso Glazed Salmon were cooked to perfection...oh and the Wasabi Mash Potatoes were a fun take off the traditional! The server was great. She was very knowledgeable and delivered service that balanced authentic Japanese style w/ western fine dining experience. We were well taken care of. The Chu Toro and Kanpachi nigiri we tried were great and so was the price(you've got go see that for yourself). The sushi chefs seemed very friendly. Even though we sat in the dining room they greeted us on our way in and out. If you've never been there or if it's been more than 2 mo. since you've been, I highly recommend going in to check them out. They've changed a lot...for the better!!!
What a gem of a restaurant! I was visiting Vegas and wanted to go off the strip in search of some great sushi and boy did I find it! The chef is an absolute delight and takes great pride in his work. I thoroughly enjoyed all of his wonderful creations. Being from Vancouver, often the local sushi restaurants have great sushi but the decor and ambiance leave much to be desired. This is not the case for Kazuki Sushi. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy and has great decor including fantastic artwork and seating. I definitely felt like I was in a higher end restaurant but not paying outrageous prices. The owner is friendly, hospitable and treats everyone who walks in the door like a personal friend. He takes the time to get to know customers and really makes them feel at home. The restaurant is just off the strip in the southern highlands. If you're in Vegas and looking for some great, affordable sushi in a fun, comfortable setting, then take the short ride off the strip and head to Kazuki Sushi. You won't be disappointed.
Coming in from Cali every weekend the drive is a drag with nothing but fast food from ghost town exits. Kazuki Sushi is the only sushi restaurant you can find when you finally reach the first exit after stateline into vegas and last exit outta vegas before driving back to Cali. I actually look forward driving in from Cali and taking southern highlands pkwy exit, to have the AYCE sushi. OMG the rolls are amazing! If you dont know what to order, Just ask for half rolls, that way you can try as many rolls as you can possibly demolish. * FYI ... I have a sensitive stomach, but Kazuki in Southern Highlands has never given me the runs nor bloating!!! Most AYCE places gives you the sh*ts !!! NOT KAZUKI. The fish is sooooo fresh!! Yums!!! Can't wait til Friday! Will be thinking about Kazuki the entire drive in. Then Kazuki before driving out Sunday. All fellow Californians, trust me, Kazuki sushi will make your drive in and out of Cali worth your time. You wont be disappointed.
My wife and I have eaten at Sen probably thirty or forty times. We don't keep going back because it isn't good. No, it is not cheap, but you can't get exotic fish flown in from Tokyo for "all you can eat" prices. Chef Hiro Nakano is amazing. Yes, he was the Head Chef at Nobu. Nobu is great, but I would take Sen any time over Nobu. His black Cod is to die for. Then there is the head sushi chef. Amazing. I have eaten Sushi and Sashimi in Tokyo and San Fran, so I have more than Vegas to compare the quality. The fun thing is I am a traditionalist. I like the best sashimi and I want to try every good fish on the planet. Sen's variety of fresh fish is unmatched in Vegas. I order my sashimi Omakasie. My wife likes the fusion sashimi. So ever other time we go we tell the sushi chef who is the boss that night and they make us either traditional or fusion depending on which one of is the boss. Booblehead2 must work for the competition.
They have the best food ever. I love going to eat there. They have the most wonderful menu. Their lunch and late night special are awsome. They have choices from chicken, steak, seafood, sushi, sake...etc. The show on the teppanyaki grill is wonderful. So worth the money. My family and I have been going there ever since we discovered it. That's almost a year now. If it's not dining, it's take out. They are open until 4 a.m. in the morning. I celebrated my birthday there. A few of my friends have had there birthdays there also. I'm thinking of asking the manager if I can have my wedding reception there. Who knows, I might have the best caterer for my wedding. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Once you tried it, you'll want to come back. I did, again and again.
The first time I tried Shabu Shabu at Swish, I was very excited because I realized that I found the best one in town finally! Shabu Shabu is one of my favorite Japanese food and I tried many time in different restaurants. Therefore, I have some knowledge and experience about Shabu Shabu. So I can strongly recommend those of you looking for the best Shabu Shabu restaurant in Las Vegas. My favorite dish is KOBE Shabu Shabu. The restaurant offers fresh and quality Kobe meat and vegetables. Also they have seafood Shabu Shabu for seafood lovers. I tried both of them and they were fantastic! So if you want to go out and have a proper meal or dinner Swish Shabu Shabu is the ideal restaurant for you!!!
It was my first time in Vegas, and at first Caesars Palace was so overwhelming because of how large it is, but the staff was very helpful in showing us where to go. We booked a basic room, and we had a problem with the shower not turning on/off. The gentleman at the front desk immedaitely upgraded us to a suite when he heard the problem at no extra cost. Our suite was AMAZING!!! We had a view of the Bellagio fountains, the bathroom was huge and clean, the beds were comfortable, it was the best room I think Ive ever been in! The shops were nice, although definately out of my price range it was still nice to walk around. I would definately go back.
Almost gave up on sushi, especially All you can Eats. Walked into this restaurant and it didnt stink like dead fish, barely smell fishy smell. Not a huge fan of raw fish, was recommended to have the fish/ roll torched and bam the roll was on fire!! Now I can try all these rolls cooked. Rice texture is perfect. There ain't no slim picking of fish up in here. Place is classy dig for dates. Huge selection of fine exotic liquor. Massive jade// granite bar for big guys. Ginormous 80" tv, Ain't no small things up in this joint Save room for dessert. Those deep fried Oreos, hit the Spot. I give 6 figs to that!!!!!
I enjoyed this club alot. We had passes that were given to us by the staff of Casears Palace to get in free, and when we were walking by the front a bouncer let us in right away. It didnt take long at all to get a drink, they were a bit pricey but hey, its Vegas, what do you expect?! The dance floor was a bit small, but there was atleast room for us to stand without being bumped into, so we were still able to dance. I had a lot of fun here and would definately go back. Also, I enjoyed the crowd. Different types of people, ofcourse you have your typical stuck up b**ches, but overall it was a decent place to go have fun.
Nice to find a good sushi restaurant that has Japanese and Korean sushi chefs with a Hawaain flare. Sick of all these knock off sushi joints that hire wanna bees Sushi did originate from Japan and Korea KAZUKI sushi knows what they are doing. So glad this is my neighborhood sushi joint, even it'd be wasn't it be worth the extra mile. Kazuki is like the Katana's of Sunset (but no lobster rolls) (not yet) Kazuki has quality with quantity, and pricing is great!! Serious, for all u can eat, they aren't just pumping and dumping. They actually take pride in the QUALITY! And with sushi, u don't wanna mess wit that.
